  1. Hi guys, I just thought that id share this shot with you that i made today with the R10. It was a bit naughty i know but i couldnt resist it and there were massive open fields behind the house which belongs to a pal and he is happy with me shooting on his property, before the ballistics lawyers on here start sending me PM's moaning and preaching to me about safe shooting. Anyway i looked out the patio window this morning before work and spotted this maggie gobbing it on my mates roof. My youngest lad said dad shoot it and ill film for you. I looked and said its too far son.

  3. Hi guys, I got some real bad news yesterday which pee-ed me off all day long. Basicially my boss informed me that i was no longer allowed to shoot at work as some pest controller who had been contracted to keep the bunny population down had turned up on Sat night to do some lamping on the football fields and saw my red filtered light shining around the work place location as i was lamping with the lads. He then put in a complaint saying that he didnt dare get out of his car as he was in fear of getting shot by stray bullets :wankerzo4: He also said that he looked for bunnies on
  4. Well its a real pleasure for us to have you back Maltenby. The regs on the gun section are all top class lads and lasses. Zini
  5. Cheers for the kind comments lads. Im fine Sweeney as marksman as already stated im a little pee-ed off at the moment but i think all my problems will be sorted next Tuesday and in fact i might be happier then than i was 2 days ago. Zini
  6. I used a leaf to pick the little bugger up by the tail. I then washed my hands as soon as i got back to work. Zini
  7. Shooting Davy Keep up the good work mate. Si
  8. Hi guys, Yesterday i went to check the squizzer traps and low and behold under a pheasant feeder was a big fat rat just sat there eating wheat I watched him for about 30 seconds while i worked out how i was going to get the cam on him to film his demise. Unfortunately i couldnt get the camera close enough on a flat surface without spooking the rat. Not a problem i thought as i raised the R10 to put the cross hair 1 mil dot hold under as the rat was only sat at 20 metres. Not much of a test but it was my first rat with the R10 so i had to make it. A dull THWACK as Davy would
  9. Ace write up Davy as usual and good shooting buddy. The permission looks tops mate. You any where near Larkhill in Wiltshire? Some of the land looks familuar Zini
  10. Cheers guys, Ive edited my bungle now You utter wan-ers :wankerzo4: lol. Takecare Si
  11. Well done MTP. They look like nice clean shot bunnies. I bet they taste well tastey and tender. All the best Zini.
  12. Well done BTS mate. Its a shame that you didnt have your camera with you mate. A camera is almost part of my combo these days since i joined the gun section on here. All the best Zini.
  13. Cheers Davy mate, that was a very nice comment to make . Im glad that everyone is enjoying being back on the forum and reading the threads. Its the good, true hunters on this gun section that make it what it is. Im just a little part of a very big picture. a bloke who enjoys his shooting and hunting Si
  14. Dont worry guys the bunnies that were snaeaking like a sneaking thing in that wind will save for another night . Its like living on deaths row for them bunnies and getting that last minute legal save before they are killed. The save was the wind but tomorrow is a different day Lets see how they sneak with a .22 FX through the brain. The only sneaking they will be doing is to the cemetary Thanks for coming up guys, its always a pleaseure to shoot with you all and have a crack. I did get the owl on video Chris and have turned it into a JPEG picture. Dylan was impressed your rig
  15. Thank you Sweeney mate Yeah Chris certainly can shoot mate. He also did the shot of the night again by hitting a rabbit in the brain at about 30 metres out of most of the wind and the AA field went straight through the bunnies far side eye taking some of the brain matter with it. As you can imagine the bunny didnt run off The quote of the night went to me again for my saying of " That bunny is sneaking off like a sneaking thing". I didnt think it was that funny or out of the ordinary but it tickled the lads :stupid: Zini
  16. Cheers Davy mate. Give them pigeons what for. Si
  17. Nice going Davy. Makesure the tractor dont drive off What you using today Davy, the HW 100 or the AA? Which one do you think is better in your opinion mate. Si
  18. Hi people of the great Hunting Life Forum (HLF), I me up with Reggaeman, Wuzzy and his brother in law Heiko who had come over from Germany for a weeks visit at my house yesterday. The weather wasn’t very good due to heavy rain and cross winds so I made them a cup of tea while I showed them the 31 minutes of edited footage that I have now for the DVD. After our tea we headed off to the farm where I shoot ferals for the owner. Typically there were no flying rats about apart from the usual tonne of pruned feathers that lined the barn floor telling me that the pigeons are still there
  19. Thats what i said to you Chris when you said that you were thinking of the Ultra muli shot. Pellets just fly so fast through the barrel that before you know it you are buying a new tin of them LOL. Im chuffed that Wuzzy and Famboy are both happy with their deal and i hope that they both have many years of shooting fun. I cant wait to see the Falcon in action today up at my permission. Si.
  20. Hi Migmog, When i had my S16 Evo is used Bisley Magnums in .177 calibre which the barrel loved. When i had my tuned HW95 i used AA field which produced 1 hole groups easily. Buts its like Davy said mate, you just have to find which pellet your S410 likes so it might take abit of experimenting. I thought that .22 Webley Accupels were the pellet for my R10 as i was able to shoot out the 10p size bull with 10 shots at 30 metres with my R10 until i tried FX pellets last week. The difference is massive and the accuracy as got even better. Now the pellets fall pretty much on top of each
  21. Oh yes Bedrock, so far i have footage of me and the boys shooting, rabbit, magpie, dove, corvids, squizzers, feral pigeon, wood pigeon. I have trapping footage of me trapping squizzers using cages, Fenn traps, magnum body grip traps (conibear traps). I also have rats using a home made cage. I have footage of me and the lads ferreting. I have footage of me gutting and skinning bunnies the Zini way. I have put a few misses on but to be honest there arnt too many misses as the lads are top shots. I got footage of how to properly zero your combo etc. Its looking pretty
  22. Just keep at it Chris mate. The dream permission will come if you keep at it. You know that you can shoot on any of my permissions with me when ever you want mate
  23. I certainly hope so Chris mate
