  1. The Gurka thing was a joke Tony. We were going through a very deep puddle in my car at about 5 miles per hour with the windows down, when a Gurka thought that he would try and impress his mate in his car by bombing through the puddle very fast and soaking all of us, which they did, soaking me, the inside of my car and all the lads and their combos. It sort of made me mad as you can imagine as these guns arnt cheap (1 x HW100KT, 1x HW100T, 1x S510 all brand new) and neither is my car so i chased him and caught up with him, stopping him 300 metres up the road. He had his car window o
  2. Hi all, Thanks for the kind comments and im glad that the lads enjoyed their time shooting with me. Yes Tony, Dylan is shooting but i dont let him attempt shots at anything live past 10 metres yet. He only is allowed to shoot doves on the garden at 10m when im with him and I think the shot is easy enough for him until i think he is ready to extend his range to 15m. He has only shot 1 live thing so far but it was a good shot and the bird fell like a stone. He shoots with me in my range at targets and im coaching him to shoot properly and use the correct trigger control and f
  3. Hi all, Here is a small write up from today’s 4 hour meet at one of my permissions. Myself and my son Dylan met Reggaeman, Wuzzy and Festa at my permission at 1210 hrs. We all went in the range to zero our rifles. I and Wuzzy had both just made changes to our combos so needed to fully zero. Wuzzy as just bought a Nikko Stirling Laser King and I had just put on some new Hawk high mounts so that I can fit the scope cam to the rifle. After a chat we went around the permission driving to see what feather was about. Festa is after a new HW100KT so I borrowed him mine f
  4. I defo will do Shay buddy, I think she will be a cracker when ive finished her. Yes Sib, i guarentee i will be smashing vermin with this rifle 100% very very soon. I only sold my HW95K last march so dont think i have forgotten how to shoot a springer just yet pal Regarding the HW95K mate. Do a search for Sandwell Field Sports. There is a man there called Tony Wall. What he doesnt know about tuning rifles isnt worth knowing buddy. He is in my mind the guru of tuning rifles especially Weihrauchs. His full tune is only about £45 and when the rifle comes back "WOW"
  5. Cheers Michael, Thats what i was trying to do. Make a nice hunting DVD that is as good as or better than some of the pro stuff. Si
  6. No Joey, Ive just checked that buddy. The SMK QB58 is a underlever and this is a side lever. I cant find any side lever SMK's either. I need to know what it is as i cant put on my profile "The rifle with no name" LOL. Does anyone know if these guns can be upgraded with new springs to put them at full power? I saw a OX spring in the gun shop today and wondered if that would fit in it. I remember as a kid everyone wanted Weihrauchs with an OX spring in. Are they any good? Si
  7. Cheers guys, Shes my new lady so she needs to look and feel her best . If the gun smith takes her to 11.5 FP, I'm going to treat her to a new Webley silencer too I bet within 2 weeks this little rifle is bashing plenty of vermin and filling my freezer. Si
  8. Wait out please both ill turn my phone on in 10 minutes and phone you both Si
  9. Hi Shay buddy, The rifle that you kindly donated me arrived today in the post mate, so thank you very much. I got her home after a stop at the gun shop to chronograph her and see what she was pushing out. She is pushing out 8.9FP with RWS .177 super domes at the moment buddy, even at this power quite capable of taking 20 metre corvids humanly. Her stock has now been sanded down and re stained, the barrel has been cleaned, the trigger has been greased and she isn’t dieseling anymore. I’m booking her in the gun smiths next week for a new spring and seals and the trigger adjus
  10. Lee85, If you want a DVD then PM me buddy and ill give you all the info Zini
  11. Jamie, A new BSA R10 mark 2 for that price is a good deal pal. I think i paid £595 for mine plus £33 for the SAK silencer Have a look at these sites http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.asp?cat=Air%20Rifles&SubCat=BSA%20Air%20Rifles http://www.youngmans.com/acatalog/R10.html http://www.gilsansports.com/products.asp?search_id=83 The last site is the gun shop that i have used now for my BSA R10 and Weihrauch HW100KT. Top service and top people. Si
  12. Hi Paul, Glad that you like the footage buddy. Ref getting a BSA R10 mate, they are top rifles and I couldn’t recommend them enough pal. For me it’s the best rifle I have ever owned by far buddy. I’m not saying it’s the best rifle out there. I’m just saying for me it’s the best due to the feel, balance, point ability and accuracy plus some good old memories of nice shots with it. I don’t think that you will be disappointed with it pal and wish you all the best when you get it. The scope cam is something I made myself pal. It’s a normal video camera a
  13. Hi Beggsy pal, I was just about to say have a look at Davy's really good scope cam footage about shooting with a .177, but now seen that he read the thread before me LOL. As you see from his footage he can whack all them targets buddy from 1 zero point at that distance he zeroes at (35 yards) I don’t really shoot .177 pal but will try to assist you where I can and try to point you in the right direction. Davy is your man in this thread buddy. Kind regards Si. Hey Viper thanks for the kind comments about me and Davy buddy. Si
  14. Yes mate they are a good rifle for doing the odd bit of pest control and will account for vermin with ease. Ive owned one myself in the pest and i shot plenty with it. Best of luck Zini
  15. LOL Davy, Just read what i put Silly me Regards Si
  16. Funny that you are saying that Jasper buddy as i have just got some sales in America and Spain Si
  17. Jam, I have already answered this in your other post buddy. Zini
  18. I use the FX own brand pellets in my R10 rifle and they are by far the best pellets i have found. I would consider trying them buddy. Si
  19. Hi Jamie, When you fire the R10 without a silencer fitted the gun sounds quite loud at the trigger end, but if you are down at the target end say 15 metres out to 30 the gun is very quiet. Its like the AAS510, all the sound goes away from the target end but sounds loud at the trigger end. If you fit a SAK silencer, (straight screw on no messing) like i have on mine it makes the gun much quieter at the trigger end. For a experiment i fitted my HW100KT silencer on my R10 and there was no difference from the SAK as the loud part of the R10 firing cycle is the valve inside the acti
  20. I use a .22 calibre BSA R10 mark 2 buddy and it rocks. Best rifle by far i have ever owned and i have owned lots of them. Both calibre are good and if your shooting is up to it will kill at great distance. If you are good at range estimation and know about hold over and under then try the .22. If you are not so ofay with the above then i would advise on the .177 buddy. Pellets wise, you need to try the FX pellets as the barrels love them and put in drawing pin size groups mate. Zini
  21. No Newbie pal, I have never shot anything so far with a sub 12FP rifle in .177. I have shot a 63m bunny with my old stealth 2000 years ago when old with my cousin, taken a 57m magpie in the first DVD and a 55m crow in the second DVD both with .22 calibre. As ive already said both calibres are deadly if shot properly and the rifle is in the right hands of a good shot. I know a couple of .177 lads in here who are my friends, Reggaeman, Davy who would put money on would humanely kill birds at 55 metres with their .177 combos, just because they are both mint shots. Reggaeman
