  6. Just thinking about how much pressure must have been on that jar because being very bored yesterday myself and my cousin got a jamjar and put it upsidedown on the concrete floor and me weighing 8 stone i stood on the top of the jar and it didnt smash.
  7. That on with the jar is fcuking discusting. but for some reason there was a strange attration making me carry on watching it untill the blood started running in a stream from the puddle. thats when it go too much. Serves him right though.
  8. f*****g hell. made my stomach turn, i was very close to throwing up at the jar one.
  9. im fairly new to ferreting but on my first time we had a dig and behind a rabbit in a stop end was my ferret and a rat
  10. I have used them in the past and they worked but i dont do much with rats anymore. but yes they do work if you get enough smoke down the burrow far enough.
  11. Dont get that stuff in your eyes, it f*****g kills and can blind you. i got some in my eye at beating ast year when the wind blew it into my face. :black eye:
  12. I normally watch them when i feed them and they both go to the bowl at the same time but the polecat eats it over the bowl or near the bowl and the albino takes it into the nest area. if i feed a carcass i put it in the nest area and they both eat pretty much the same amount.
  13. i will keep an eye on her but she has always been the one to eat less. the albino is smaller than her and she (the albino) has always eaten loads compared to the polecat. but strangely enough the polecat has never layed up whereas the albino normally just runs straight through a bury while the polecat works it but if she gets the chance she will lay up.
  14. Hi all, just been out for the daily shit removal and exercise for my ferrets and my polecat jill is acting a bit wierdly, going mental when i opened the cage and pushing my albino jill around abit, eating a bit more than usual and drinking more although i think shes drinking more and eating more due to a change in diet (changed from james welbeloved ferret food to a differnt ferret food mixed with cat biscuits. also i have been feeding more meat than before so i think thats why shes eating more) im not sure if shes in season or not as her vulva isnt swollen yet but shes been acting a bit d

  16. Put the pics on my post from ages ago mate. it has loads more on there aswell just tp get lot of ideas. Plus it we wont have as many posts all the same. I will drag it back up to the top and put a link to it on this thread.
  17. We were out on friday and we stuck to small 4 or 5 holers and one larger 12 holer and although the ground was a bit frozen all we did if we needed to was take a big fallen branch from the wood and stick the peg in as much as poss and put the log on the drawcord. if we couldnt do that we just put the pegs in as much as possible and buried the edges of the net in the snow a little bit to is had a little pressure on it and that was enough to bag the net up and stop the rabbit getting away.
  18. Haha looks painful but funny none the less. i slipped over in front of about 20 people that i know on monday andwhen the laughed i just got up, laughed and carried on
  19. HAHA that looks well funny. well done mate, how do you make them so the spring at the right time?
  20. Its well worth it mate, i was out today with purse nets and my terrior marking holes that were open(not covered in snow) we got 5 but 2 of them were backnetted where we missed a hole inder a big log but the rest of the holes that were netted caught well, you just have to cover the edges of the nets with snow.
  21. Oh cool, wish i had interesting things like that on my permission, the only thing like that is a half broken barn with caurigated iron roof in a small copse.
  22. That house in the background looks a bit wonky.
