  3. My uncle (mums brother) had a rook when he was a kid. used to sit in their apple tree and would come down to him for food and stuff, then when it was about a year old it just disapeared.
  4. Your not trying to stick up for an animal shitting in public walk ways are you... wether it is dangerous or not, it still stinks, makes a mess of your shoes, your car and carpet.... And do you know anyone who has really been harmed by dog turd??? there have been many many posts on here by hunters who have had bother with horse riders and there horses(dogs being attacked, etc) so comeon dont think we will back horses up to go shitting all over the place... They are just as bad. right so were all gunna get off our horses with a garden bag, pick the shit up and get back on and carry
  5. hi all, absolutely pissed it down here all day but it eased off to drizzle at about 1:00 so i decied to get out with the airrifle for some fresh ferret food as i knew she squizzers are always about in all weathers in that wood. anyway i got there and as soon as i walked in the wood i was met with the site of 6 squirrels playing in the leaf litter and running round tree trunks etc. but as i got away from the footpath enough to unslip the gun they spotted me and ran into a drey THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE FOOTPATH :censord: ;wallbash: but anyway i then spotted a hen pheasant laying up in some b

  8. look at the hunting convictions section. i quote from one "incident" John Greenwood and Daniel Graves, both of Nelson in Lancashire were found guilty of hunting rabbits with luchers. Greenwood was fined £100 with £95 costs and Graves was fined £50 with £95 costs. And also at the bottom of the page I also quote A gang of seven men: Daniel Dooley, Darren Fairclough, Michael Smith, John Weeder and Paul Hoffman from Liverpool, Adam McIlvenna from Halewood and Kevin Walton from Knowsley were found guilty of hunting rats with dogs. Each was fined £400 and ordered to pay £

  11. hi all, i went ferreting for the first time with my own ferrets last week and this last 2 days my hob has been scratching and rolling in the shavings alot. he keeps rubbing himself along the mesh on the front of my hutch aswell. both have been treated with frontline spot on for fleas and ticks. i wondered if its the bedding, they have straw bedding with a few small squares of blanket in there at night. does anyone know whats causing him to keep scratching?
  12. Hey Pal get one thing straight... I am no colleague to the police , not even police are Listen. you come on a website saying that you drank half a bottle of vodka and whateer you had and then go on to say that you got done for drink driving, then you wonder why you get complaints and get moaned at. what do you fecking expect, dont go getting f*****g snappy when someone says something to you about it, especially in your line of work, you must surely spend time cutting people out of cars and that sort of thing so if its a road accident you must work alongside the police surely. sounds lik
  13. Wat a stupid statement so you would class them same as some one poaching a few rabbits [bANNED TEXT] they are decimateing course fishing stocks with electro prods and even draining parts of canals to steal all of the fish and if that is not bad enough their stealing all our feking jobs as well.At least their not muslims One thing I know about is fish stocks and illegal fish poachers, its no different....poaching bunnies, rabbits or whatever is all the same thing. Thousands of anglers happily fish for "imported" french carp every week.....they dont give a feck as long as they catch a big
  14. Its better they do that or go and shoot pheasents with an air gun than kill and eat all our course fish I do that anyway (shoot pheasants with an airgun for the pot) Poaching is poaching, doesnt matter who is doing it or what nationality they are.
  15. Whats the very very cheapest you'd go on the locator mate? pm me if you want.
  16. Not to bad round here yet, the rivers are a differant story but the organised/privately owned lakes round here are pretty good for that because the 2 lakes i have always fished one the owners house is right next to the specimin lake and the other one the owner comes round every hour for money from anyone setting up anyway. My aunt is polish and she is into fishing but she has the attutude that she is in this country now and thats how it is here so thats how she will be (legally and as the english do) She also says that although she loves to eat carp and anyother fish it is illegal in the UK to
  17. Oi get off my land, that looks like the hedge of my football pitch permission u muvva fecka. well done lads, good size bag by my standards. i found that they wouldnt bolt very well in the snow round here.
  18. Will you take £90 for the locator. thanks. Jake( differant jake to in above post lol)
  19. Hmmm, at first my mum was really annoyed but i managed to keep her calm and she said no and i HAD to get rid of them, then i offered to clean the bathroom every week for a month. that helped. lol. you could assuming you dont/do have a job you can offer to get a part time job to pay for expenses of keeping it or if you aready have one you could offer to pay for everything and find other ways to make miney as well.
  20. mum said no more animals, because i knew she would never agree to it i baught 2 ferrets off my mate at college and took them home, she said they had to stay at my nans and i got "grounded" for a week. the day they were due to be moved to my nans house she suddenyl decided she wanted them to stay at our house. go for it mate, she will either say keep it or u can always sell it on again (not condoning itin every situation but if worst comes to worst)
  21. hi all, i have recently(last week) got permission fot the football pitch next to my permission. i have been asked to control the rabbits by whatever means i deem suitable. anything apart from firearms (airrifle and shotgun are ok as long as i put signs up on entrances. well last night i set some fence snares on the chainlink fence between the pitch and my existing permish and this morning when i checked them a bunny had pulled one of the snares along the fenceline a bit while still attached to the fence (between the links on the fence) and had stopped when it got to a concrete post holdi
