  1. Mum baught a microfibre pet blanket in the pound shop yesterday and i cut it into quatres and put a bit in the hutch with other old clothes and when i went out this morning they had dragged everything else out and were nested up together wrapped inside the blanket, it was obviouslt warm and comfortable enoug on its own.
  2. this morning i got up at 6:30 like normal so i can feed and clean ferrets before school and still get ready in time, oh and walk the dog aswell. first thing i did when i stepped out the back door was slip and smash my head on the door when i landed on my @rse on the ice. then the fookin shed door was iced shut, then the water bottle was frozen solid and then to make things even worse the ferrets had had a perticularly bad night and have sh@t everywhere in their cage so before ive even left the house properly ive had a bad day. Snow on the way, dont want it this weekend, it can come aft
  3. get the pogues back to no1 Fairytale of newyork best xmas song ever written. better than all this shit that has no actual thaught put into what is written. at least fairytale of new york wasnt just written to make shitloads of money and get to no1, it was written because of shane macgowans passion for making good music for people to enjoy.
  4. I have just been out to check on them and they have stripped the meat off and the jill was practically inside it licking the marrow out
  5. nah, the dog wouldnt even touch them, sniffed them and left them, i chucked the one he picked up and threw around. the ones that im giving them havnt been touched.
  6. ok, will do. also alot of the meat because it was scrap in the butchers it has loads of fat on it, will that be ok?
  7. hi all, i have been to butchers for meat for the dog but he has had all the meat and wont tough the bones, am i ok to chuck them in the ferret hutch and just take it away when they have stripped the meat off? i have a bit of meat i will give them but wanna know if its ok for them to strip it off the bone, will it do them any harm if they start eating the bone?
  8. ok thanks, i think i will use newspaper and i will also chuck a few jumpers and things in there aswell. they have an old pair of kids trousers in with them at the moment with the legs cut off and shredded up and the waist/bum bit whole like a bag and the curl up and sleep huddles up in that top bit.
  9. it is the A40 that is the alternative to the motorway between oxford and High Wycombe so it is pretty busy. the holes are in a ditch and there is alot of cover between the ditch and the road so we will have to miss a few of those holes anyway but i think we will net the open ones.
  10. hi all, going ferereting on sunday and there are a few holes in the hedge between my permish and the road, some of the holes are in the verge on the road side of the fence, where do i stand with putting nets over the holes in the verge as they are out of my boundry but dont want to lose bunnies or a ferret on the road for not netting holes. where do i stand on netting these holes next to the road?
  11. hi all, got my ferrets at last, making better hutch next week sometime aqnd what i want to know is is it ok to use shredded newspaper for bedding? i have been using tissue paper and normal paper and small bits of corrigated card cut up for the last week. so does anybody use newspaper?

  14. hi all, soon me and my dad will be applying for shotgun certs, (iknow i have been saying this for months but i am deffo going to give it on very soon) anyway, i have my referee and she has signed mine but i want to know can she also sign my dads? she has known us both for 8 years and she is a teacher so should be ok for me but can she do both?
  15. actually, the owner of the land that the pheasant was shot on is a serving police officer specialised in anti-social behaviour and he has told him to feck off a few times when he has seen him talking to me.
  16. Also, I obviously don't know what sort of person the landowner is, but if he has had any trouble with that guy in the past he may be willing to help you as you do him a service for free and after all, sounds like this guy was harassing you. the landowner shoots has even told me that if anyone gives me any shit to tell him and he will sort it out, but he is on holiday for 2 months at the moment so he cant help me out but i am happy to go to the police if need be because he is really getting on my tits as he walks off the footpath scaring all the pheasants when he can clearly see me stalki
  17. the gun was in the slip and were you supervised in a public place (footpath)by somebody aged 21 or over? because i was on my permission, and the landowner has signed a piece of paper sayig that i have sole permission to shoot on that land, therefore i am allowed on footpaths and bridleways. am i right? same as a game shoot, if the gamekeeper/owner has sporting rights then they can legally shoot over the footpath. edited to say sorry i didnt see other replys.

  19. you think its bullshit. i can tell you where the permission is, what the guy's name is, his road name, the owner of both permissions, make of gun we were using, and even post a google satalite of exactly where i was standing if it makes u believe me. plus i have a picture of me and my mate with the phreasant we shot when i get it off his phone.
  20. what is the distinction between being on the footpath and not on the footpath though, thats the thing that worries me. also he has complained because he claims he saw me shoot over the top of his house bollocks did i, that is dangerous and i would have no need to shoot 100 yards+ down a field, accross a road and into another field. hes being a complete tw@t, he has a rotweiler (or whatever there called) that he cannot control and it bit my nans dog about 6 years ago but my nan didnt want to do anything coz hes a fooking mental A*sehole
  21. have looked on the BASC website and there is nothing mentioning footpaths. just want to know if i was in the right or not.
  22. hi all, i was shooting with my mate on my permish yesterday and admittedly i crossed the footpath with the gun but i didnt shoot on it. i was about 20 yards from the road when i fired but no1 was on the road and i fired in the OPPOSITE direction to the footpath, i was about 10 yards away from the footpath and shooting over a fence onto another field in which i also have permission, when i went to collect what i had shot (pheasant eating the owners chicken feed) a man came over from his house and started havibng a go at my mate saying that i was too close to the road and breaking the law by
  23. no idea mate, maybe fleabay but dont hold me to that.
