no there aint a lot of rabbits about but its a day out it was more a dya out for scotsman he been really depressed lately dribbling from his mouth seeing things ect ,a perfect example was on saturday he was shouting there,s a fox it just ran down that bank now there was another 7 car fulls there and none of them saw it if you had heard him could hardly speek properly he was drooling and dribbling all down his shirt tell you what its not nice seeing a mate going down hill as fast never mind hopefully the medication sort him

yes there are a shit load of birds put down by eskdale i have been doing a few houses up soarhope way and the place moves with birds -
knocked a couple out rushes and yes its a huge open space ,great place to be out wandering with the dogs no one for miles

went out yesterday with 3dogs and scotsman for a couple hours bolting rabbits for the dogs .it was good laugh only down side is i could not slip my bitch as she wanted to eat the ferret we only ended up with 5 rabbits ,one of the places covered a fair area but the rabbits were just popping down other holes rather than making a run for it think that was due to the wind and rain could be wrong though heres a couple pics

been thinking about buying a scanner for when out watching our local hunt ,just wondered if anyone had any tips on a decent one i dont want to spend more than a 100 quid on one and it should be hand held so i can take it when walking out ,cheers

personally i would love to go on a hunting trip in america just to see first hand how these dogs are worked ,at first glance the pics of the two trapped ones do look a bit on the cruel side but after reading the american lads reply and looking back at the pics niether of the yotes look in pain
