  3. 100 quid over a few weeks/months on a DIY?
  4. good luck, dont forget to contact pay pall if its within reason of course..
  5. if its under warrenty send it back, if its not and papped ...try a rap lol. its broke any way sort of thing.
  6. sounds like the return spring has broke unfortunatly.. other options are remove the scope and mounts and start from scratch..also check the gun screws etc, see if the barrels bent which is unlikly.
  7. hmm about a half inch to three quarts an inch from 13-15 yards out to 60 yard...with the right pellet in, yu dont need the extra from a .22 lol. suttlety prevails bare in mind though, as you get used to stuff, a heavey pellet carries a lot further..and holds a bit better (in fac turms..). I would worry about how a little .177 would behave with 30+ft/lb of power behind it.... but i'm now of the firm opinion that its the best calibre for sub 12.i think at 30fps it would be aproaching the second sonic barrier with an 8.4 grain pellet.. a little less would mean more shots per fill of cour

  10. did you try the .177 version in chairgun? a lot less drop i thought.
  11. haha i like it.. theres three groups on my shoot, the first has three left but jeeeesus theyre hot now lol the others are a camp out in a dug out hole as far as i can see.(hmm unless i can loan a CZ and a big box of ammo..lol) that flues a bugger int it.. i once went out with brochtous half way through mid winter like, i made it home but ffff damn it was hard lol, felt great for it though..hahaha not! shootin bud.
  12. take it to a shop..then you'll know you have a starting point. a fac reg may gane a few shots and help consistancy too. and no, i dont think it'll equol a rimmy, arnt they -140 foot pound ?
  13. agreed, how many shots? whats the plan...the second you hit on a flyer on a shoot you'll wish for two things, first 'oh ffs not back to the car to fill up again' and..ooo multi shots are really good .. so..what's the plan?.. with that..i'm fecked and its bed time...pcp multi with a big rsed bottle for me lol. in .177....but you'll not know your preference if you never try.
  14. try a HW100 in 22...close up you can trace shoot with no sight lolol. i cant help thinking..borrow a .22 for a month and get some time in with it, if posable definatly get some ratting in, just to see...i hated the .22 on rats.
  15. i'd go for something with the larger cylinder tbh..as nice as a pcp is things like 30-45 shot ones are just a ball ache to keep refilling...yu just cant get yu stuff flowing right with all the interuptions.. 400cc is like 300 plus shot reged and tuned..i'm talking a full squirrel chaise afternoon of shots to the point you have to lay down on the ground from the kneck ache lol.
  16. ermm..if you miss the pull a sharp pain accompanies your shoulder for several weeks..ranging from a breathing stopper to just a dull naffin really hurts lol..tried one and missed years ago, still remember it today funnily enough.
  17. that shout in the back of the shop would be 'oh noooo not an to to despring'
  18.     i'd be using the jsb exacts i think.. a watched a chap at a range with one of the tune kits in his springer, fine tuning with shims, he was getting strings of several shots at the same feet per sec then it changes by 3 or 4 feet per sec for a similar amount of shots and then back again.. good pellet match.(the inerds were probably 'settling in..can be as simple as not enough or too much or just the rong grease, another is uneven grease coatings..bad piston cap..etc etc then each shot the inerds fractionaly change the
  19. lol have you ever run out of shots with the rapid? hehe..nice going.
  20. i wouldnt worry about it being 10.5 till you try it out, it'll depend on the pellet wether its hot on or lacking distance.. i used 10.5 in .177 for a season with no problems at all out to 55 yards..
