    i like the look of that lens on the roses, what is it? The camera is just a little Panasonic DMC-TZ18 Lumix a 16x optical zoom I use this for all my pictures. hmmm..not bad at all

    lol yeh night time helps. you've hit a good point there though '' just sitting tight they wont know your there'' the 'wont know your there' bit, when theres a few using the land they know already, when its your own proper shoot the less they know the easier it gets for sure..so your doing summut right

    few hours on the plenking should take you up to 70 np's...its a mind game to beet. its like your first girlfreind..yu fumble about till you find the hole hehe (sorry ladies..but it is when you dont know any different :hmm:or know how but just not where :laugh: ) start at 10 yard or what ever your cumfy at (has nowt to do with what yu mates think like) and shoot one hole, now hit that hole, that is the only intent and the only out come your intrested in. when you do it 3 time your head starts 'chucking in the bottle game'...self doubt, teething probs etc.. but non the less you did on

    like i say.. try the harder shoots lol. my 'range' of 30 years has covered fair few types, from having to bed in 4 hour before dawn to running around in shorts n T shirt.. my favorate memery has to be actualy doing the 1 2 3 on an open feild in rain, i mean straight line rain, literally sigted up on number 1, took three on the trot out 60 yard.. that was on a very hard shoot..but that once occured over a 2 year odd everyday shooting. like wise i've just walked up to rabbits in the grass close enough to hit with a stick..again all four times in 30 years etc.. just doesnt cut the ca

    yrs they can, but not all...some are having to shoot at the half mile mark. same on rabbit.. if your brought up on padack shooting and rural garden areas where the clock work 1 2 3 and none run away.. try where i and many others were brought up lol..................fart within a mile they all leg it!! thats if you get that close :laugh:

    thinking your invisable.. neeehhh couple things to remember, a bush walking accross an open bowling green is THERE instantly lol.. hiding behind something sort of makes it a simple camo jacket afair.. some where in between you do disapeer..but!! once the local wild life gets wind of you or used to it..theyll see you, not as easily like but they will see you. squirrels are a good sourse of knowladge on this one, they'll come and have a look at the 'new wasnt there yeatserday bush'.     lol with the right pellet at the right setting you should get something like 15-60 ish yards all half inch on the cross hair..as in aim straight at it more or less.. just a thought. in .177 like..

    get hold of some lead flashing, like thin strips of easily maluable lead, fold it over some string.. collects lead and makes a quiet 'tick' sound, quite quiet, and off course a hammer tends to 're-flat' even the pellets for some time. types of targets and usages? i've always though the larger the target the further the distance, but for airguns its a case of can you see it? needs to be bigger if you cant, or of course move closer. for short ranges use the smaller targets... a single pellet hole in any old paper card wood what ever, shoot at the hole.(pen mark blue tack blob you name it

    i think the bit about age is we sort of lose that blind faith and lust to 'shoot it' lol..its a lotta effert int it. (nooooo its nev-va age lol) and yeh i still cant get used to glasses...messes yu distance perception up when they go..bloody heart breaking i thought. first thing i notised about glasses was half your periferal vision is blocked by something in yu eye, i think its the rims some how lol...that and the light reflecting in from the edges etc etc..i can only find fault at the mo, apart from the very very small print

    theyve always advertised their guns as 'distance airguns', and coincidently they have long barrels..shhhh secret that is i've only seen a couple chronos on springers, all different makes but they same to have a foot print pattern with the velosities, i.e. 2 fps varience for a few shots then a 'flyer' followed by a swing in the numbers then back to 1fps varience for 5 or 6...followed by a 'fler' and a swing.. might just be me like. i did fill my old , or the second old ..lol was one of them, filled it without taking it apart with grease just to see like, ran smoooooth as pie, no chrono
