    20 year ago the going rate was @ 45-55 fp's they start to shed screws very quickly..there was reports from america of 55 foot pounds regular with particular ammo's and a bit of modding.(the facs run better at 24 fps for 17 and 26 for 22...there abouts when tuned to particular ammo's, 30-40 for 17 and 22 at the extremes) get the spring out IF you know what your doing, it definatly has an fac spring inside.. if you havent/arnt acustomed to it, take it straight to the shop and tell them to re spring and tune it..(get some delrin or some such in it with the tune to quieten it a bit) it can be

    have you got the half mildot aloud on the main poi chart? dunno if it'll put them on the turret bit.

    if the barrel pellet combo likes lead then use cleaning pellets, one slight oiled one 3 dry for a clean, and put a couple dry ones through after a shooting day if you use a full fill. if the acuracy goes a bit, ease of with the wad cleaners till you suss it. and yes its a royal pain in the but lol.

    a guy of another forum took me to his shoot and happily put 5 shots in a 20p group with a legal limit HW80.. in a wind lol. and why would you want to? because it developes a much better skill leval at the lesser ranges, also lets you know when your scope is proper on line etc, and of course thres hft..those bunnies and birds that know...etc lolol.. quite a few reasons.

    try it and see, some like a leaded/dirty barrel, others like their own lead up the barrel etc. so if the grouping goes to pot with the other pellet its time to put a few cleaner pellets through..if its still pap proper clean out, thats the problem with testing new pellets.

    i'd say try the daystate heaveys, verses the jsb heavies. and just to chuck in fu good luck AAfeilds beleive it or not,or some bisley long range golds against good old accupells lol. if the dirty accypells like your barrel try them at 40 yards on a some dandylion heads then shoot them with the bisly magnums...just to see what the inpact noise diference is like.. (but...try out to 50meters.. ) for accuracy..jsb heavies are exselent in my rapid.. the daystate heavies are good but not as far.. AA feilds through an X2 were hot as they come on the edge of a coin at 50m..yes 50meter

    i've heard this so many times with kits...why let them go? (yeh i know money and needs be..lol). my favourate is 'i shoulda bought two of them..' one breaks and eather theyre good and the price quodroupled or they dont do them any more.

    i have an area that i shoot out to yards for a warm up..then i nip off and about. helps me to see where i'm at on the day basically. (and how the gun and pellets are doing.). edit, keeps a check on where your eyes are at too...

    i do, but nothing that will leave perminant markings or damage...nothing worse than a patch of wood with trees covered in pepper holes. after a couple years it really adds up quick.

    here, just had a thought about zero'ing, has any one had a zero that wont center, i.e. its inbetween the clicks? only cure i found for that is strip the scope off the mounts and rap electrical tape where the mounts grip.

    was just saying for the sake of others reading. your getting nice grouping there..try not to let things keep you from your shooting, i always found the second i was on form sudenly every man and his dog desided i didnt need to go out lol. (the just do it was refering to the shooting..)

    what? :laugh: i thought every one did it? lets put it this way, a gun shop owner (long since shut down unfortunatly) shot me one day for laugh...some 30 yard acurate spounge bullet gun, jeesus i thought i was dead!! i even caught the thing as it landed, they stopped laughing and stared in my hand when i opened it hehehe shit them up?? weird lol. it took about an hour to land, and fu some reason i could not move my legs to get out the way? at first i thought it was fear but nehhh...it was only a very small split second lol.
