  1. Nice one Al cheers for the info mate . Is the Airwolf the one with all the state of the art Fandago electrics in the trigger , looks a cracking peice of kit but all that technical stuff scares the shit out of me!! I'm still used to the old BSA Airsporters and Mercury's ... My lad has crazed me for many months to get one of the Daystates so one day I'll surprise him and bring a big grin to his face... Jasper
  2. I know what you're saying Decker and you're right its a lot of money for a gun when I can do the same job with one alot cheaper. The only thing I am looking at is shots per charge! I had a Falcon Raptor .177 Skeleton a few years ago and got totaly pissed off topping it up after around 65 shots. at that time I only had a stirip Pump and used to break my back topping it back up to around the 195 Bar mark, I enjoyed the gun and it did everything I wanted and probably would have kept it if there was a place nearer to me to get Divers Bottle topped up, but the nearest is a good 40 miles away...

  4. Been there before tracking birds down with telemetry and picking them up on a kill! I had a Pere/Saker from Gary Wall a good few years back which would quite happily sit on the arse of a Crow/Rook into the next vicinity but 99% of the time the flights was missed watching the arse ends disapeer in the distance.... if you enjoy tracking its a good sport but I now lack the stamina or the enthusiasm for all the tracking, The one bird I had that seemed demorilised Rooks and Crows fom the slip was a Pere x Prairie...
  5. The white feathers are a Nutrition deficiency! we used to pick up alot like this and get a few easy one's like this with birds with white brittle feathers, they're lacking in something either during the moult of when growing down feathers from a sibling.... Still nice to see one in the bag Jasper
  6. Has anyone got one? if so any Info on them would be much apreciated. I have fancied one for a long while now but they're big bucks! some Info in the field and any faults that need airing would be handy to know .... ATB Jasper

  9. Don't throw in the Anti Crap droid when its pretty much abviouse its not anyone from the Hunting fraternity in the UK taking part in the vid... All the Anti stuff has been done time and time again on far more important Issues than some Hill Billys fireing a squirrel in the air, I have seen many squirrels hit the Deck when being pressed by a Hawk far harder than that from tree falls, get up, and leg it through many more trees to cover.... 15. There's got to be some pretty large big Pussy's roaming around the UK ! thick in fur with dribbling glistening lips ready to slay any man that enter their domain....... Nothing that a decent plank of wood and some hammer and nails wouldn't sort out ... Jasper
  16. 100% Trappa Richy I'm not having a pop mate but its just obviouse that when you take up anything you do some homework first! if not you're going into something totaly blind folded... Its different when you're doing some other field sports when the well fair of a Animal or bird isn't at stake, but in Falconry when you're dealing in weight reduction of a bird which can sometimes be delicate! the birds well being is in your hands, staving a bird into submision certainly isn't the answer, Conditioning one is ...... 17. try reading it again Richy! if you do your Home work you wouldn't be asking the original question in the first place ...
  18. Probably the best way to get some weight off it is take all its equipment off and let it go and give it its freedom! I can't think of a better method when these birds fall into Hands of some seriouse Numpties with about as much experience I could could Write on my finger nail ... Read some Books cover to cover! put them down and read them again! there's books even now I can remember totaly off by heart. I used to lay under the bed covers when I was a kid with a Torch reading Falconry books when I was supposed to be going to sleep for school in the morning but read them I would. get out wi
  19. Classic . sorry about that Flynn. :friends: ...... Jasper
  20. I think it was the Scooter and the Records they was after mate, certainly not my looks . as you know if you had a Vespa or Lamba back then it was the best Fanny magnet ever .. Jasp Thats the one stig . I'll pm you if I get rid of a few. there's near on 100 there and some good old classics that I collected over time! I had a load more but loaned them when I was single to a bird and forgot which one it was , never saw the records again.... Jasp I'll surf the net and ebay mate and see roughly what that one values at .. There's one there stabs "Thats Not Lov
