:clapping: You guys are realy lucky to live within striking distance of such productive hunting land..... Any place 'darn sarf' that has a healthy population of rabbits is soon 'discovered',... Nothing beats walking around and having a mouch on the Fells,...absolutely fabulous.....

I have found that if introduced to the rabbiting game,..slowly and carefully,..and not encouraged to hit their lure/target like a mad thing,..or 'geed up' too much,..the 'Hard Blood' specialist bred Racing Whippet is one hell of a useful tool... I like them,..I REALLY like them..... Indeed,.my own new puppy,.'SKY' is virtually a whippet/greyhound type of thing,..with a wee bit of collie thrown in for good measure I cannot wait to get her out and watch her sitting quiet on top of a warren

Good work there Woodga... Like yourself,.I love my ferreting,... :clapping: The terrain of this country is so diverse and varied that it is favourite to keep a dog that suits your game. Recently I have found that a return to the smaller,..'whippety, greyhound, with a good dash of sheepdog style of jukel is the best tool for the job locally... And if the myxy holds off and allows the rabbits to become even more established,..wow... it's gonna be a rare old time this Autumn.... All the best to ALL crosses,...kind regards,..CHALKWARREN...

I saw a 'free copy' of the CountryMan's Weekly magazine at The Welsh this year.... (Superb show,...genuine hunting men )... The magazine has indeed changed... Full colour photos and loads of articles and adverts.... Them as is bored with the content..... Let your feelings be known... Be vociferous and forthright in your criticism and let the powers that be KNOW that you are unhappy with the situation...Hopefully the editorial staff will listen to the folk who 'pay their wages'....
