  1. Yep, how feckin daft eh? It's bleedin crackers! what is the world coming too! Hang on! Would this work in reverse for lads poaching on my permission? Lol!
  2. So even on my own permission of 16 yrs, in daylight, a dog in my control was considering to run legal game, he could still confiscate my dogs, ferrets and motor just on the strength i didn't have written permission to hand?
  3. What does the insurance cover, and where is it taken out, and is it worth anything? (Also how much is it?) Been a dog lad for years, but never really mixed or talked with many other so called dog lads till i got on here!
  4. I'm all legal by the way, only hunt rabbits. Yes seriously by the way. Never got into the fox side of things, allthough it must have been fun, in the past! Too busy on the bunnies!
  5. Busy day fella's, looks like the ferrets had a hard time!
  6. Not been on here long, so forgive me if it's been said lots before, but is there any Legal proffesionals that know the law inside out who can run rings around these people in court?? There is a lawyer that specialises in motoring claims called Mr Loophole, as his name suggest's, he exploit's any loophole in the motoring laws. (footy players love him!) Just thinking, any of the same in the world of dogs?
  7. At some point the mothers of the young will try to push there young away when they have had enough, and think they should be flying the nest as they would in the wild. Is the jill doing the attacking a parent from this year? And does she attack young ferrets, (This years?)
  8. Bladdy hell Louis, your more irate than a ferret! Here's piccies of my cages, 8 in total. as i live in a terraced house with a small back yard, i'm a little pushed for space, but the critters have plenty of cage space and are let out nearly daily! The second piccie has cages on the inside of the old brick sh---outhouse.
  9. All the best, hope you'll be back in the future.
  10. Your getting out though fella! A pair of the old bobs will keep you feet dry! Did you have to wedge your camera around places for the piccies?
  11. Cheers Lofti, sure you'll be doing the same as soon as those young uns get a little older!
  12. Hi Mate, good haul, life in us old farts yet, bit younger than your old lad though, hope he keeps at it. Can't stop the old fella, nags me all week to get a day off if i can! He's keener than the pups!
  13. Collie grey is a hard one to beat, speed, brains and stamina. Perfect for rabbits, and will adapt to a lot more if required!
  14. Cute little thing! Show us how the dog turns out in a year or so!
  15. Out on my weekly trip, (Wish i could do it every day, bloody work!) to babysit the old fella, and generally dig, carry and obey orders whilst he bumbles around! He'd been out with one of his old mates midweek, and nailed 53 bunnies on the 'Easy ground'. Pair of 70 yr olds! I only get to play on the difficult stuff! We decided to do a 10 acre piece we call the plantation, english nature planted it up around 5 yrs ago, and never has any stock on it so the grass is now very high. It's good cover for bunnies to sit tight in there seats, but hard work for the dogs in pusuit cause of all the t
  16. Dusk is ideal for potshotting, anytime is ideal for terriers!
  17. They always bring fun to your life Flyin, even if it is somebody else's finger bieng bitten! Little buggers!
  18. Who would sell a decent dog of a few years old? Question where it's coming from and why. Only good dogs of a few years are given to people. These come from people giving up on the sport, and are passed on to there mates. Plenty of dogs on here have been stolen of late.
  19. Also using the box, knowing when the quiet knock sounds tells us to dig a bit more carefull, no need for extra gear like a probe.
  20. Never really work that many ferrets at once myself Stubs, do you gain anything through using that many? (ie faster turn over of warrens, size of warrens etc?) If there's only 1 or 2 spade's at most, is 3 -8 required?. Only hitting small to medium warrens ourself, but sure what we have will shift or kill whats there. Not sarcastic in any way, still learning from others. and everything about dissapearing for a few mins, and getting a fix on the animal is our line of thinking.

Ros Kemp, what a dweeb! Did anyone see the crunchy nut cornflake advert with him mincing about in a red baseball cap? (In the 90's that is!)
  22. Rely on the hob to get things moving! Cheers jigsaw, would really like to see your the piccies of your dog, don't need awesome speed on the bunnies!
  23. once one of mine got a jellybaby stuck in its little throat and that stopped it eating,,then it died What not a rubber ball?
  24. Probs what Hob + Jill said, one of two ferrets in a cage over a week or two can hog the food, even full carcasses. Resulting in one getting skinny quick! Try letting the skinny one have a feast before you let the other feed. This is where matching individual animals comes in at this time of year!
  25. She's a stunner, bit plastic like but still a real stunner!
