  1. Sure somebody will have the dog. Wish i could but i've seen the best greys fail on the dales and multiple runs!. Someone who wants a dog for single figure runs on leggy game will have a ball with a pure grey! Always spectacular to watch!
  2. KX are the 2nd and 4th man brothers by any chance kiddow?
  3. Yep they deffinately do, (as long as the dozy little buggers don't get lost!) I think they sometimes have the mind slightly bigger than a goldfish, and when they have a kill will make there way back to base, if they are familiar with the area. Most just carry on roaming and being distracted till somebody picks them up!
  4. Think they just wanted a Guiness or Stella, but got lost on the way! Get them into drinking at home, they'll not stagger far then!
  5. I think a placid nature will help a lot, if you are hotheaded then leave it to somebody else! Everybody seems to know better than you, but are not willing to take any responsibility themselves! (gobshite's) On the plus side Victor you could just start something with genuine friends and take it from there, hobby's and clubs should be a fun place where leisure is involved, only a few take it too serious!
  6. Yep manfredo didn't even wobble. Shame it could have shaped up to be something if the ref had let it! Some good posts on here, lots of comments ring true!
  7. I agree on the ferret moving on as soon as the rabbit is killed, all mine do, there's more interesting things for them to do than sit around eating and sleeping, once everything is dead or bolted, out they come. (unless blocked in like last weekend, would have been a lost ferret but for the locater.) If the batteries die then use your own senses and the dogs to put you in the picture, this has happened on collar batteries occasionally, or where they don't have a good contact. Either dropping in another ferret equipped with collar to find the other, or finish the job off and come out. (dependi
  8. he does get a lot of fast slaps in a round tho i read he`s got this fast slapping machine thing in the gym 1`600 slaps per round or summot Ouch! Still slaps will grind you down! Would have really liked to see him turn his fists over and punch with his knuckles and fist, he would have been awesome if he could have mastered that, and a match for anybody in there prime!
  9. Joes been slapping opponents for more than 4 or 5 years, thats how he fights, thats how he wins! Don't like it, but he's found a way of winning. Think he'll do it again. Shame he didn't get out of cardiff to fight earlier in his career.
  10. Joe to win by slapping his opponent to bits as usual. Workrate and fitness will overcome Jones, but cannot see Joe taking him out, the inside of the glove never seems to do that!

    water

Never took any water for them, but only once have they drunk when they have been put down next to it when out, after 100's of times offering it to them!
  12. Is there any specific type of dog these people are looking for, I've read reports of terriers and runners going lately, Is it the bull x crosses they are after more than anything? Also could the people doing the robbing be reading THL to see which are the best dogs and areas they come from? Make's you worry about posting sometimes, just in case the wrong un's are following the write up's. Could there be any way of maker it harder for anyone who could be reading THL to find info out if thats what they are doing?
  13. Would anyone ever go back to not having a locater once they had used one? Wouldn't like to be without ever again myself.
  14. Pain?????? What's that???????? :11:
  15. Let us know how they get on Pete, always interesting to see how the critters make out!
  16. This thread is in past tense of course?
  17. The inbred line sounds right, but would'nt say thats the end of them. anything is possible with the critters, they may turn out to be good workers! (Just don't let billy bob near his own mother again!)
  18. Wouldn't know what to do for the best, it's a risk of being stuck for hours (or ever), or just skimming the top off it. Put in Jills, then they have a chance of getting away and bolting (But then they stick with the hard nuts that don't want to bolt and don't come out for ages!) Or stick in the killing squad of hobs ( Quick kills, but absolutely no point to killing for nothing!) and maybee they get blockended like I had last weekend. Lots of people used to ferret with no locator, and some with a lot of success, but you'll only do half a job, and maybee lose a ferret. Up to you pal, do the
  19. Shame for the old un! Got to admit, reading through the posts, ferrets are a bit like Laurel and Hardy, or The Three Stooges. Stupid animals but always making you laugh at how stupid they are. Hats off to the ferrets!
  20. Yer can't catch vans and stuff in long nets! Good sessions by the look of things!
  21. Crikey! there are more vixens on here than in the whole of yorkshire! Come on there not all hunting girls are they really!
  22. Sounds like a lot of sense being posted on here, glad a lot of people don't think a big name is the making of a dog! (not that i've got a good terrier, he's too bloody big!)
  23. Well done to you all! Great to hear of the great sportmanship between the two owners! Thank for the swift write up as well, hope the rest of the comp goes as smooth!
  24. They say dogs are like there owners Oi i may be grumpy, but i'm not old! (well nearly!) See i was right just smile at everyone it works for me But what if you smile and you have no teeth? A smiles a smile Ok i'll try it, but it's your fault if people run off screaming in my local park! you know you can do it , anyway it takes less efferet to smile than it does to frown Try telling my face that!
