  2. Shed and fence paint. I got some from wickes thats wax enriched or something its thick stuff and soaks into the wood aswell as leaving a good water resistant film.
  3. Dont give him normal milk, it will give him the shits and you dont want him to have them if hes vomitting aswell.
  4. haha theyre great pics mate, the one on second one on top of ramp looks like trouble lol. Nice run aswell good to see ferrets with space to run about. You watch em dont ya when theyre wearing the collars in the run?
  5. Im not suprised you are not supposed to apply anything other than frontline. Ring the vets ask to speak to the vet and explain. Quick cos they go down hill quick. Not your fault realy. Burn the book aswell lol.
  6. Hope she pulls through you are doing your best mate.
  7. Ive used royal canin convalesence powder its great for poorly ferrets, and great for putting weight back on em. You can get it here. You just mix it to how thick you want it. 8. Leec if you are concerned about the ferrets then do something about it.
  9. You need to keep her hydrated. Let us know how you get on this morning.
  10. Yes it is normal after all they are ferrets not lap dogs. Sit on the floor and let them come to you.
  11. LOL. put em in a bag and wait til kids put their hands in. Mine dont seem to be bothered about fireworks, they are in the shed. You could bring them indoors or put an old duvet over hutch to block some of noise out.
  12. Yes i use a wireless burglar alarm. Just the door contact and siren box. Its a yale one.
  13. Are they out of season? I would not muzzle a ferret it wont stay onnit anyway and it cannot defend itself. Get them both castrated that will sort it.
  14. b*****ds,you must be gutted mate. Hope you catch the c**ts and get your ferrets back.
  15. I have PM'd you and also have a look here. http://host17.qnop.net/~nfws/vet-syorks.htm
  16. Ferrets do scratch alot, get flea comb out and see if theyve got out. I frontlined all mine other day, one of them had a tiny tick on his face. Got it with the tick tweezers and frontlined all of em. I hate the bloody things. You spray it on gloves (only a few sprays you dont need alot.) and rub into fur all over.
  17. Im not sure but i get lactofree milk for em (obviously as theyre lactose intolerant) they love it and it doesnt give them the shits at all. Nor sure it does anything for them but they enjoy it.
  18. Think they might been sawdust. Most woodshavings for animals now has been dust extracted anyway so should be ok. I use shavings.
  19. They will be putting on weight anyway at this time of year ready for winter to keep em warm. I feed mine meat most days aswell as dry.
  20. It does calm hobs especially when in the breeding season, stops them pacing and ragging at the wire to try and get out. Also reduces their smell alot.
  21. Chudleys is cheap and nasty.
  22. I had a hob get out,he was seen for weeks but nobody would pick him up. By the time i got where he was seen he had gone. I kept postering further afield but then there were no sightings. Tell ya what though i dont think i will leave a door open again. I must check the bolts 3 times everytime i put them away.
  23. Yep mine get meat, rabbit, chicken wings, mince (cheap frozen), pheasant. I feed mix of dry food (whatever is on offer, but i feed vitalin as the main, its got very good ingredients). They also get lactofree milk (just cause they like it), eggs, fish etc.
  24. Did you keep him in overnight when he came home?
