  1. Do you realy need £7500? I would have thought that anything after £2000 would be pretty pointless as the dog isnt goin to have a working life after that and if it costs that much to repair then i wouldnt have thopught it would have a life at all tbh it would be in a proper state. Anything after a broken leg has got to be PTS in my eyes as i dont think its fair on te dog.
  2. They did say badger baiting i just check on i player
  3. Maybe theres a wildlife crime increase cause they banned a sport alot of people enjoyed ...
  4. I dont care who she is (politician) or whjat she does (talk rubbish like them all) but damn she needs to have a bloody shave before she goes on telly. To be honest im just jealous because she can grow a better tash than me but still how much is a Mach 3?

  7. Been a great thread this. Do the bears and the lions run much? Or do they just jump into the first tree they get chance to? How are the seasons for the big game and is boar an open ended season as pest control?
  8. Great read mate. Ive heard you mention for you guys coyotes are more like predator control. Is that the same with the bears and cats ect? The lion pic is great im guessing the dogs bay at the lion and its shot or do they try to throat it like a coyote (they look like big buggers and could easly kill a couple of dogs)? Also before you said the rifle blokes dont like dog blokes whys that? They see it as you killing there sport? Sorry for so many questions but i like to see hunting from all over. O and id have been cacking myself i recon with that bear looking down from that tree at me. I
  9. Thanks for the info mate . I look forward to reading future stuff
  10. I dont want to sound checky or anything but could you possably give an account about hunting mountain lion next ime you have chance. In my eyes i guess its a totaly differant hunt ( i guess the lion is alot tougher than the coyotes). Do you use the same dogs on the "yotes" (check me out i know all the lingo) as you do on the bear, bobcat or hare? If you do, then they must be the ultimate hunting dog. This is an asumption because i dont know much about the US hounds but i guess you dont use sighthounds on the bears or big cats ect. Ive seen videos of walkers hounds ( i think thats what they wer
  11. Is hunting coyotes with dogs quite common in the US? I know you guys have a hunting culture over there but is it more like hunting with rifles? Also is all types of quarry worked with dogs over there? Like deer and hare, fox, pigs even some of your big cats? Its intresting for me to hear what you guys do.
  12. Be good if you could get an article up in EDRD it would make a cracking read.
  13. Yer some of the yanks on here said they were clever enought to try and cut off one of there dogs and try to kill it. I guess this realy does show more like small wolves then big foxes.
  14. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8331106.stm Not much to say realy. Could do with some coyotes here to kill the anits when they walk alone in the woods.
  15. "The SSPCA says dogs are being bred for the traits needed to chase and kill animals such as foxes. Bull lurchers are a cross between bull terriers, which are used to flush foxes from their dens, and lurchers, which can chase the fox once it's out in the open." I thought that part was funny. Ive not seen many spannable bullx's.
  16. Theres quite a few hunt in the northwest from cheshire up to the lakes. Its all pretty open and you can usualy find hunt cards on the differant hunts websites. I guess you just gota look around for the nearest/most suited to you hunt and contact some one from there. Ive been toying with the idea to go to my local hunt for a while but never had the bollocks
  17. Cool , guess they know which side there bread is buttered on.
  18. Nice pics mate. Does the dog not barrel in on the Falcon if it catches and does the falcon never get wound up if the dog snatches a jackrabbit from under its nose (or beak i guess ). Must be a mega trained team youve got there .
  19. Other way round mate were winning. It says would you support the repeal. An so yer we do support the repeal were winning 66% to 33%
  20. Are many Borders kept abroad? Is there any workin strains in the States or in Europe? European strains always seem to be much less adversly affected by the showing scene and the differant prey species available would surly provide a good base to inject more blood if the gene pool is to small.
