Was a good do . I was hoping the skinny bloke on his own was gona win the digging comp but i think the 2 lads next to him had all the gear . The 3 bull xs in the final were more like horses that dogs. I was impressed by how little trouble there was between the dogs. I think ill be back next year.

Your a ex soldier? I doubt it coming out with shit like that. Either way coming out with bollocks like that means you know nothing about the situation out there. The British soldier is at least as proffesional if not more so than they were 10, 15, 25 years ago. What youve just basicaly said is blokes are dead because there shit. Shows how much you know. Hi lost a chicken the other day and i was wondering who in your opinions it could be? Basical my mum was washing up in the kitchen with the door open and the 3 dogs inside. Heard a squak and went outside to find a pile of feathers and no chicken. Had a look around and a mooch about with the dogs but nothing to be seen or heard. Later on when she went to shut the hens away found the hen that had been got had managed to escape and find its way back to the hen house minus most of its guts but was still alive if not kicking. It had been disembowled and had a totaly crushed ribcage but it managed t -

How do you pick a collie to be put to your greyhound ect when going for a collie x? Were do you choose the collie from? Is it from dogs that are known to produce good lurchers ect? I guess theres not alot of collie first xs about but theyve got to be there to begin with? I guees what i mean is what traits do you lookfor in a Collie seen as gameness isnt a masive trait in collies.

Hi basicaly today i decided i wanted to try and do some sea fishing. Ive only done it abit like once before. Can any one give me any tips on how to get started or point me in the direction of a good site for beginers info please. I dont even have a rod how much should i expect to bepaying for a beginers kit. I did abit of spinning before off a jetty but never caught a thing. Im living in wiltshitre atm but i wouldnt mind traveling to some were decent for a day. Can any one recomend me any decent places not to far away on the coast? Thanks for you help in advance.

I think you should have sorted out the hunting before comitting to a hawk!! You cant own one without somewhere to fly in my opinion. Sailsbury Plain Training area. There is plague proportions of rabits on there i just with i had the means to hunt there myself.

Does geting a dog castrated affect its working ability? Does it make them loose there prey drive? Ta in advance.

Yer that pretty much what i was thinking. Itl be a big drop in wages for a while and i guess its just getting a farrier to take me on as an apprentice. Ill have to do more poking i think cheers

I was wondering if any one had any infomation on farriery as a hole. Im realy interested in doing it. Im already a fairly well qualified electrician (but with next to no practical expericance but thats by the by) but i dont like it as a carrier opertunity. I would like to know what the apprenticship is like, what wages i can "expect" (im guessing minimum wage). How likely i am to actualy be able to get a mentor. Ect ect ect. Im kind of hopeing there is some one here whos got some experiance on the matter as there is alot of fluff on the internet and its hard to work out what the real life vers

Hi I like reading these posts from across the pond. Have i not read some one saying cyotes are moe like small wolves than large foxes? Is it not safe to assume then you would need a few more than say 3 dogs to run down a wolf? Ive read up on wolf hunting before and i was always of the opinion they used scent hounds more just because of the speed and lenth of hunt? Maybe a mixed pack of Scent hounds for the chase and some dogo argento/pit/whatever for the kill? Im sure accidents would happen with any kimd of dogs hunting wolves tho and im sure you would loose alot of dogs just because a wolf is

What do they use the horses for. Im my experiance they never look much use for owt apart from a kidie starter pony. there not Huners or Jumpers or racers? What exacaly do the gypsies do with there ponys? Is it just for say pulling there caravans? And also on a side not I never realy seem to hear of much horse theft. Surly the horses are prized above there dogs so why arnt more horses stolen. (Not meant to insult anyone just something i thought typing out the first bit )
