Lol no mate she hasn't been well so couldn't .....

Last Wednesday when Tilly was having her pups I dozed off at around 7am and I felt Tilly climb onto my lap but in my half sleep mode didn't really pay much attention until I felt a warm sticky sensation on my lap and I woke to find a wriggling pup accompanied by the usual blood and afterbirth .... Anyway after getting her and the pup back into the shelling box I whent up to the house and stripped off and chucked my soiled clothes into the outside utility room where the washing machine is and forgot all about them .... I was under the impression vasectomising a hob is actually a pretty tricky operation. As a result quite a few vets don't offer it. The last time I had a hob snipped I rang round about a dozen vets to get quotes and about half of them said they won't do it as it's too complicated. I had one refuse to do it too but there are plenty who will. My advice would be to shop around, I was quoted anything from 60 quid right up to 130.00 Like you I had a range of quotes. I've got both as I need to breed jills some years to replenish stock but if your never going to breed off your jills then get them done it will save you a load of hassle ..........

I think its years of being ran into by big b*****d police horses at football has left a mental scar ! So if 1 hand is 4 inches why not just measure horses in feet and inches ?.....is it some sort of horsey etiquette or is there a clever reason ? I'm sure the horses will get over it with a bit of therapy ........ Charming......stick your clique up your arse then ! Lol I don't have enough friends to form a clique ........

The rest are all doing well and the bitch is a real good mother ... She tip toes around them in the bed she will only lay down when there are no pups under her ... She is very attentive and gentle with them so fingers crossed the rest will be ok .........

Down to 11 ... small little blue merle bitch dead this afternoon ... I didn't hold out much hope from her from the beginning as she was half the size of the rest of the litter .......

The scan wasn't a waste of time for me as I needed to know if she was pregnant due to work commitments and when to ease up on the dog .... No mate gaffer isn't the sire ... The sire is a dog bred by phil that Sirius off here owns ........

Don't quote me on this but before correct measuring equipment was readily available men used an outstretched hand to measure a horses height and at some stage it was standardised at 4 inches ... I suppose due to good old British tradition it stayed as the measurement for horses ... Much the same cattle at market are sold in Guineas not pounds .....
