I used to train with a power lifter who was world level so he had my deadlift technique sorted .... I just could never get my squat technique right hence I was shit at squat. I have also always been naturally strong luckily ......

My d man did the gun crew two years running ... he was telling me that the team starts off with twice the amount of people needed as there are so many injuries during the training .....

I wasn’t training for anything specific just decided to do a bit of extra gym work ... I’ve always been naturally strong and always worked and played hard and seeing as you get payed to train in the army In top class gyms I just took advantage of that .......

It was in Kosovo mate during the war ... the yanks build a camp and fill it with McDonald’s Burger King American paper shops etc and try to make it like a little America to take the troops minds off where they are and basketball baseball gym competitions etc are common place and probably ran by guys that didn’t have any clue about competition records etc .....
