  1. i read about this and am deeply saddened for the boy his family and the shooter all have had a very traumatic experience. however im glad that the mother realised it was an accident not any type of consolation i know but it was very brave of her to say so. i always take a time to think of incidents like this as it helps me keep on top of safety none of us want something like that on our concience. terrible times.
  2. makes me laugh that she hates the thought of bolting bunnys with ferrets but she says "have you got you ferret out?" lad says "no" her reply being "better leave it then!" so bolting bunnys is worse than leaving a domesticated animal to starve to death like so many taken into ferret/animal rescues. sorry but i would of put both on theyre arse woman or not "give it like a man, take it like a man" sorry if that offends anyone but i wouldnt let anyone talk to me like that when they are staring me in the face
  3. what a great permission look forward to seeing some good write ups happy shooting
  4. tx200 is a great gun but extreemly heavy hw97k is great and a touch lighter and imo the better looking gun id rather carry the 97k for the day im quite a well built lad but i think the tx200 would do me in in the sense my arms would get lazy and id start to lose enthusiasm my stepdad owns both and the tx200 just gathers dust
  5. Did it work out? If not I might be able to take the lad on (if they are happy with him going to a pet home) depending on a few issues such as dog aggression etc. Send me a p.m if he still needs a home. Regards, J. how does he get on with cats and dogs?

  9. on my mum and stepdads farm its frustrating 8 years ago we had lots of bunnys mixie struck good bye fluffys and havent seen anywhere close to the numbers of 8-10 years ago (last year i saw about 10 bunnys in a year) went to the farm on wednesday evening and now the farm is heavily populated like it happened over night but guess what ? the early stages of mixie has set already so on the burning skip they went and i hate wasting my kills devistating

  14. the thing is she is in business and charges so the farmer thinks hmmmm i have to pay her she will get results plus the farmer went looking for her its hard to get permission as natural instinct tells us "free? whats wrong with it?" too bad the farmer doesnt trust some decent folk who are out for some sport and all at no cost to him. i just wounder what damage she is doing using toxins and looking at that im guessing the rabbit dies below ground level? get ready for fox holes farmer!

  22. aaron sell your gun first then just go get the feel of some different gunstheres no rush buddy i think for the price the aas200 has great reviews and the only gripe people have is the low shot count but as said before who really uses 40+ shots per session? again the s400 is a cracking gun try stick to a budget with the known reliability of the s200 think of the extra spondoolies for things like scope and sling but like you said it has to feel right for you. tidy gun with the bonus of all accuracy of most aa models imo good luck choosing fella
  23. ok thaks for the help guys after speaking to some guys from the bsa owners club i have decided to go for a scorpion t-10 "just as good as the as410 but much cheaper" and "some have teathing problemsbt if yor buying new the warranty will cover that means sending it away but worth the money you save" so r10 was basically disgarded after alot of eviews i read and the average review for t-10 and s410 is 4.9 out of 5 and on my budget the scopion t-10 being roughly £100 cheaper has made my mind up. the r10 is also very exspensive for the bonus of a buddy botte do you really need that man
