  13. hi guys i couldnt decide wether to post this here or in the optics section but i feel it may have something to do with th re coil? i have my gamo cf-x and to be honest all the bad opinions on gamo's are just rubbish to me i think it is a great rifle..... anyway i have a hawke hd sport 3-9 x 40 fitted to it with hawke mounts luckily i always have it fitted right at the start of the scope rail due to my eyes and shooting position so i know exactly where to place it when it slips and it keeps my zero, my question is is there any limit to how tight you can tighten the mount to the rail if so ho

  19. woke up this morning pulled the curtains and a big fat crow sat on my lawn! reached for the rifle and awake for 5 mins and 1 crow in the bag and i wasnt even planningh on seeing the gun today.
  20. today was windy and wet but i took my gamo cf-x for a walk around the farm not a bird (not in range anyways) nor bunny in sight close to the end of my walk a big fat woody perched itself about 20 yards from me so 1 shot fired and one woody in the bag. normally this would be disapointing but i felt right at home today and really enjoyed the walk about and it was like this woody was sent just to make a good walk feel great. anyone else have days like this?

  22. hi guys, my name is gary aka gaz i am 23 years old and come from guildford surrey, i am a relative newbie to air guns although i have had air guns for a long time. i have our family farm as my permission and love to shoot and ferret there. i currently own a few air rifles my favourite being a Gamo CF-X (ameture compared to most but then so am i!) i hope i can make new friends and learn from the more experienced air gunners, i look forward to future conversations. gaz
