  1. Dirty little buggers-is that rats or nans? Kev.
  2. I was just wondering-as you are no longer allowed to use lead shot in shotguns for ducks and geese does the same apply to air rifles? Kev.
  3. I have got the chance to buy an Air Arms S400 off a work mate. It is in as new condition, perfect in every way, no marks on it at all. It has a silencer but no scope. I have borrowed it with a view to buying it. I have fitted it with a scope off another air rifle and have had a few shots and I'm impressed (having previously only used an HW80 which I have had from new). I can maybe get it for £75. The owner has a bottle to fill it but won't sell me that, but says he'll fill the gun for me whenever I want so that's no problem. My problem is - should I buy it ( I think £75 for an S400 in the co
  4. If you're still after ideas how about the shooting one having someone inside a pigeon hide looking out holding a shotgun but just wearing a camo cap? And Kay- what's all this talk about a sows ear? I thought you were keeping your clothes ON? Kev.
  5. Check out the post 'look what me been doing' on this topic. ( On page 3 I think). Kev.

    Ha Ha

Did you hear about the bell ringer who tied the rope to his knob and got told (tolled) off. Kev.
  7. All have mate 9 dvd's Unfortunately they haven't all been put on DVD. According to the book 'Jack Hargreaves-A Portrait' by Paul Peacock an awful lot have been destoyed never to be seen again. It's a shame. Wouldn't it be good to see 'Out Of Town' back on TV now. The book is worth a read if you're interested in Jack. Kev. Incidentally 'Out Of Town' was launched in 1960. The National Film Archive preserved two episodes so that "when they finally cover Britain in concrete, they will have something to remind them of what it was all about".
  8. I've got one on my garage door-frightened myself to death a couple of times when I first got it but I remember it's there now. Kev.
  9. My wife has done a lot of modelling-Airfix kits mostly The fishing one would be good in just a pair of chest waders, that shouldn't leave too much exposed. Kev.
  10. Can the fishing one be sea fishing please? Preferably with a few bearded clams in the pic Kev.
  11. Kay- What happened to the other photo? You're too far away in this one! Kev.
  12. One of my hobs got out once and was up a neighbours overflow pipe on his garden pond. He tried to tempt it out with a sausage but it just snatched the sausage and went back up. Came out when he'd finished the sausage though. Kev
  13. Are you sure it wasn't you that died and have gone to heaven? Kev.
  14. I only leave rats and even then I sometimes give them to the ferrets if they look OK. Everything else gets eaten either by me and my family (sorry that should be my family and I) or the dogs or the ferrets. Even the crops out of pheasants and woodpigeons gets thrown down for the chickens. Kev.

  17. I've been married 27 years and my wife asked me if I could wind the clock back 27 years would I still get married. I said of course I would. Just not necessarily to you. Kev.
  18. Found some in the depths of our freezer. Also found a box of bilberries so started two lots off- 1 sloe on its own, one sloe and bilberry. Kev.
  19. 1 lurcher 2 Dobermanns (or should that be Dobermen) 1 Parson Russell 1 Whippet 1 Miniature Pinscher 1 Chihuahua 3 Pygmy Goats 7 Geese 2 Ducks 30 Chickens 3 ferrets 3 budgies 4 goldfish 2 children 1 wife 1 yamaha RD250F 1 yamaha FZR1000EXUP Several rabbits and woodpigeons (but they're in the freezer ) Kev.
  20. I suppose the lesson learned there is when there is plenty pick them and leave them in the freezer for when there are none. Kev.
  21. Went out yesterday to an old track with blackthorn on both sides and didn't see one sloe. Picked plenty of elderberries though and a load of rosehips. Made elderberry wine before but never tried rosehip. Thought I'd give it a go. Trouble with wines from natural stuff is they take so long whereas kits are ready in a few weeks. If anyone has never made wine before and is thinking of having a go it's pretty straight forward once you've bought one or two basics. Why not give it a try. Kev.
  22. I just treat them the same as rabbit. Kev.
  23. I haven't found any but a mate said he picked quite a few but it only seemed to be one tree that had them on. I know another good spot so am going there at the weekend to have a look. Kev.
  24. I envy you mate. Mate of mine has a boat and I've been out on it 3 times and been sick 3 times. I feel dizzy just looking at the pictures! It's onlt a small boat though so you get thrown about a bit. That's my excuse anyway. Kev.
  25. You could start in the 'wanted' section on here. Good luck. Kev.
