    Been stopped once since i've had my fac for having no mot (which i did'nt relise had run out 3 weeks before hand), but he never mentioned anything about firearms even though my details must have came up on he's check. Also, just as i was driving away from my permission just before getting my fac i was stopped by 3 police cars as someone phoned them saying i was walking about the fields with a gun, i had the gun in the slip on the passenger seat as i was on the way to another permission just along the road, he popped he's head right in the window and checked that it was just an air rifle then

    i'd go for it asap mate, i waited months before i even got the forms and when i got my fac for rimfire and fac air i wish i had done it sooner as hunting trips have never been the same since. I really look forward to getting out with the rimmy on a weekend now and have had some good bags too. ATB, Liam.. As for coterminous i did'nt bother with the shot gun as you only save a tenner, they are both £50 each or £90 if you get both(thats in the north east, might be differant else where), good luck pal..

    Only had my rimmy for a few weeks now and i got the A-TEC on and and it seems quiet enough but i have'nt had anything to compere it to. Very easy to strip and clean aswell, ATB, Liam..

    As i might be getting a new trigger on my new CZ i'll ask when i'm in the shop about getting the rapid done, i just was'nt sure of price and if i would be better off money wise if i sold it and bought one already done as FAC air rifles seem to go for less than standard air rifles, cheers.

    I know i cant just adjust the power up on my air rifle then inform the police i have a FAC air rifle, but what is the process of getting my air rifle onto FAC, or would i be better off selling then buying one already on FAC? How much do gun shops charge to tune/adjust them as i would like to keep hold of my rapid as it's served me well and it's part of the furniture now as i've had it that long. Liam..

    i'm more than happy with my .22 CZ rimmy but did'nt know there was debates like this about getting differant rifles. Just been looking at a copy of my FAC application form and i never actually wrote .22 rimfire or long rifle in the calibres i wanted, i wrote .22 semi-auto and .22 bolt action so thats what i've been granted although they wrote self loading for the semi, but dont know if i would have the option to buy something else at a later date, Liam..

    Well done on the FAC mate. On my cert i have .22 FAC air, .22 self loading and .22 bolt action,(that is how they are written), and it doesnt say rf or lr, now i'm confused as to what i can get now. Liam..

    Although i have the 10/22, i can only use it for targets at the range i go to so i've never tried the eleys or the winnies through it, i cant use it on my permission, i might sell it and ask if i could do a one for one swap for a .17 HMR, but not just yet as i'm over the moon with the CZ for now, Liam..

    Yes i've heard a few people telling me to avoid the cci's, as i've only had the rimmy for just over a week theres no hurry settling on one ammo just yet as both the eleys and the winnies have accounted for quite a few rabbits between them in the 2 outings i've had, cheers, Liam..

    Cheers fella's, most people i speak to seem to prefer the winnies so i've just bought another 200 as the shop did'nt have eleys, i'll give them a chance before i go back to the eleys. I'm on de-tox for a few weeks mr tea pot,not that i'm a drunk or anything it's just i now have the perfect excuse to not have a drink so i can get up bright and early on a sunday morning and do some bunny bashing Cheers, Liam..

    I love my new CZ even more than i did last week. Had another look out this morning on my new permission and had 2 in the bag in the first 5 mins a half hour before sun-up. Then went on to put another 10 in all together. Still in 2 minds weather i prefer the eley subs or the winchesters, i ran out of eleys after an hour or so, so re-zeroed the scopes for the the winny's, although we did get a few with the winny's we did have a couple of rabbits that disappeared after rolling down a hole or flipping down it when i knew for a fact that it was stone cold dead with a perfectly placed shot.     I'm going to use the rest of the eley's that i've got left out of 100 then try the winchesters out although i'm getting good grouping with the eleys. i'm also in no hurry the take a shot on my new permission as theres plenty aboutif the rabbit decides to run off, i'm checking the back stop, having a quick check with the range finder before taking the shot as i've got it zeroed at 75yrds and then i know where to aim. cheers. I was thinking about getting rid of the rapid jonathan but i've had it that long and theres not a mark on it i'd miss it, but i have got a slot for FAC air so mite get her

    Nice kit mate, just recieved my FAC on saturday and i went for the BRNO my self bit the shop never had one so got the American instead as i could'nt wait, great rifles, you'll have fun with it pal if my couple of hours out with mine is anything to go by, Liam

    Got my FAC through the door on saturday morning so went straight out and bought my first rimfire, the CZ American, i was going for the BRNO but the shop only had the American or the silloete, Hawke 4-16x50 on top, harris bi-pod and an A-TEC mod and sling, and the cherry on the cake, a brand new permission (over 1000 acres) that is absolutly wick with rabbits. Got to the permission about 4 on sunday morning and put the gun lamp on for a quick look about whilst my mate had a cup of coffee and set his gear up. First shot came within 2 mins with a eley sub to the head of the first rabbit at 55 ya
