    PRICE DROP, PICS BELOW. For sale is my Ruger 10/22 Deluxe, x2 25 shot mags, x1 10 shot mag, tasco 3-9x50 IR scopes, gun bag. Gun is very good condition, had it myself for about 8 months and only used in the gun club which is very rarely. Nice little gun, only selling as i'm putting in for a one for one for a .17HMR. £250, Sunderland.

    been back on the phone today and still no joy as they are saying why do i need 3 .22's on my permissions so i am going to sell it shortly and put in for a one for one for the .17hmr which they said would be fine, cheers for the replies anyway men, Liam..

    Got myself a cheap Newton 3x42 monoculer to use as an add-on but need to know if a Yukon 1x24 lens will fit? A few people say they are exactly the same, it looks exactly the same as Yukon but someone else said they are made by the same people but not necessarily the same parts fit. Apparently Yukon dont do the 1x24 anymore and Newton dont do a dsa, if i could source the lens i'll make a dsa as i've been messing about with ideas for one anyway. Thanks, Liam..

    You may be right, it might be as i've only had my fac since august, i've got to ring back on tuesday afternoon so i'll see what they say this time, i'm not going to kick up a fuss but if i dont get it i'll definatly be getting rid of the 10/22 as my membership runs out in the summer and i dont think i'll be renewing it, cheers men, Liam..

    Ask your feo to pop around (get his direct phone number) so you can have a word with him f to f. Dedicated nv is a valid reason. Even more so if you have a unit there to fit. I have three btw all for vermin. Good idea this one, i still have chris's mobile number so might be worth a try, i've been that pi@#ed off today i've already got it in the swap section for a fac rapid, because a few people told me that it shouldnt be a problem. I'll give him a ring tomorrow and try and catch him before the new year. Cheers, Liam..

    As i am in a gun club the 10/22 is for use in there only as i had it before my licence but had to keep it in the club safe, my bolt action and Fac air rifle are for use on my permissions. I told my self if they wouldnt allow it i would get rid of it for an fac air rifle that i still have a slot for and try for a one for one to get a .17 hmr or 223 as there is plenty of fox on my permission. (ACE32) i had my land check and interview with Chris and he was great but it's always a woman when they phone or i phone them ans she's abit more stubborn and wont budge. cheers, Liam..

    Tried that one mate, i wrote in the letter that it would be for use with night vision and the bolt action for daytime, still no good, cheers.

    After sending my certificate off along with a letter asking to get my 10/22 to use on my permission aswell as my bolt action CZ i've had a call back saying they wont let me as i already use the bolt action on my permissions and they are for the same reasons (vermin), but after explaining that the semi auto would be a huge help with more shots/quicker shots they still would'nt budge. Does anyone have both guns for use on the same permission or are they just being funny with me as i've only had my FAC since august? Cheers, Liam..

    I've just bought a 3x42 NVMT2, is this to big to fit to scopes or can a dsa do the job with this scope without spending a great deal more, cheers.

    We had twins just over 16 month ago now and I don't get out half as often as I would like to, you should be fine with one but 2 is hard work mate, congratulations and good luck mate.

    Would these be ok to attach to the rear of my scope to use as a night vision scope as i was thinking about getting one myself as they are in lidl at the minute, cheers, Liam.

    Thats what i was hoping but were'nt so sure, he would'nt be out of my sight as i would'nt like anyone else shooting in the same area without knowing where he was shooting so we'd be more or less side by side, Thanks.

    As far as i'm aware a friend can use my rimfire on my permission with me there. What if i have 2 rifles and we take one each? where does the law stand on this? We normally lamp out of the 4x4 and he drives and i'll have a spell of driving later to give him a few shots or he'll lamp if we're on foot and he'll have the odd shot but what if i were to take my 2 rifles out? cheers, Liam..

    Done it with my rapid last year, only about 30 yards and was only going for the first one and a rabbit standing about 2ft behind keeled over aswell, probably never see that again, atleast with an air rifle. Nice shot though mate.

    You would be restricted to the club but nothing stopping you knocking on doors for more permission, then if you get one send your signed letter off the landowner to your feo for a land check then hopefully if it's suitable you could be back out shooting asap. Might be worth you joining a club just to keep you guns till you do get some new permission.
