  1. Bought a 10Z the the other day and came today in the post and used it this morning ferreting, good net, bit heavy compared to the 6Z but works great, here some pics But ripped a small hole in it urlier

HI GUYS HAVE A LOOK AT MY VID OF FERRETING YESTERDAY, THE LONGNET IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL BUT IT WENT ROUND THE LONGNET, AND IT WAS MY WHIPPETS FIRST PROPER RUN ON A RABBIT FERRETING, SO PLEASE EXUSE THE MISSED RABBIT AND ALSO YOU CAN SEE MY TERRIER FLY OUT BEHIND THE RABBIT, THE TERRIER HAD HOLD OF IT BUT WHERE IT BOLTED FROM THE RABBIT SLIPPED UNDER SOME BARBWIRE FENCE AND MY TERRIER CAUGHT ITSELF ON IT AND LET GO OF THE RABBIT. HERE

  6. Ye thats a full collie, take it ferreting because it can mark rabbit warrens really good, deep one especially
  7. Went ferreting with, 6 dog( 1 terrier and 5 running dogs), left at 10, and my new 10Z 50yder came in the post as well as a free gate net. Ended with three, and out tonight because of wind is picking up, :thumb:
  8. Not to sure what they are, but they are very strong, think there nylon, got some 3FT ones that have lasted me 3 years with out no ripps or repairs

    £280.000, thats 23 more than my mum get a year and she help people at the school and what does Kaka do, swing his leg and put an some footy kit nd shoes. I think that PUFF ball is a game for puffs ( the professionals anyway)
  11. Thanks lads, first running dog so i dont want to spoil her, theres appsalutely nothing wrong with her except the yapping, will take your advice as you know a lot more than i do
  12. dogs can get pi*sy when other dogs are about, only take her out on her own for a while, and maybe let her grow a bit without chasing for a while, if you take a break when you come back to it she might find it less frustrating Thanks guys, just i dont want a dog yelping, other wise shel have to go. Il leave it for a while and see if shes ok and get her ferreting and bring her back lamping at a later date and only on her oen.
  13. If she carries on doing it then shel only be a ferreting dog not a lomp dog, got the SGC coming throught so will lamp with a 410.
  14. Ow and she only does it on the lamp, never in day light and only when running with other dogs!
  15. Shes 10months old now, thats what my mate said, they sometimes yelp out of frustration
  16. Last night took the whippet lamping with another mate and his pup and when she chased a rabbit she kept yelping, is there anyway i can stop it?
  17. Shot a pigeon yestarday so when i got back from school i plucked/gutted it and washed it out and in the seed bag i found acorn things about 10 of them all rotten and no the pigeon is in the freezer ! Not good pics but you can just make out whats in the pics. Then Now
  18. Went out with my mate and his pup last night, we both took out dogs(pups) and they caught the first rabbit they were slipped one, Im over the moon !
  19. Have bought a new long net of Bridport nets, 50yd 10Z for £59.99 + £3.99 P&P and get a free Gate Net with every order over £50, will get some pictures up of it when it arrives, and give it a review on the 10Z netting.
  20. Im sure that iv herd of a No.4, but the smallest No. that iv seen at the gunshop is a 5, il have to ask him next time i go.
  21. I wouldn't charge the landowner anything, hes doing me a favor by giving me permission and im doing him a favor by getting rid of what needs getting rid of, basically you scratch my back il scratch yours kinda thing.
  22. roll the ball down the beam, once its mastered that start throwing the ball and following it with the beam. Using a ball is better than a dummy or dead rabbit because they just stay where they land, the ball will bounce and roll Dont over do it though as the pup is young and will get bored or worn out Exactly what i did, works a treat
