Haha i know this sounds stupid he's only young, but loves climbing and jumping already, seems fearless for a puppy and bounds loads of energy, ahh i will try get him out asap its getting him of my grandad though!   2. I have to disagree that a good un is a dog that makes you happy ....it might be a good dog in the eye of the beholder but that doesnt make it a good dog

Why with these type of thread eveyone says go for this cross and that cross it will give you this and that ...davewill the best advice I could give you is find a well bred dog that is being tested on the quarry that you intend to hunt .get out and see the dog do its stuff and if you like what you see take it from there .
  4. Here is the perch trigger system I use a lot better that the 2 dowels which can be trigger by the call bird flapping . this system is not as sensitive and is only triggered by the bird landing on it Made with a lenght of bamboo and a small lost head nail

What is your favourite flee This is a flee I started tieing years ago and won a flytying comp in trout fishing mag in 98 it called a larva lace emerger tied on a 16-12 sedge hook and various colours and sometimes with a cdc post ...fished with a bit of gink on the hackle it sits on the suface with the body sub surface imatating an emerging insect ...I have caught a lot of fish with this ....I was out for the first time this season last night and had 20 and that was before the rise even came on anyone who likes fishing on top should give this fly a craic

  8. I wass out on sat evening and got into a crakin 8-9lb hen fish on my fourth cast on a small brown and gold tube she put up a good fight on the single hand 11 footer ...safely returned to carry on her journey

  17. That fish is not a baggot but a kelt and if it did wiegh 22lbs would of been close to 30lb when it first entered the river ....Hopefully the lad returned it so it could continue its journey back to the sea
