Whats that supposed to mean? i think its ment to mean your a twat with no decent dogs, not even wanky terriers we concur vduben it says a lot about someone who takes his chocie drop or that granny fanny licker youve got in you avatar digging in the spring and it gets a few puncture wounds and he has to come on THL and ask how to clean them ....I tried to give you some decent advice ....as for my wanky terriers and being a twat vduben if you were in know you would know :kiss:

Moo could you please post a link this after care of your tyke, tried searching for it but have had no luck. Read a topic a while ago and it was very detailed after care but cant find it again think this is maybe it. Many thanks N.I It is not the care of my tyke as I dont keep terriers

Surely an all rounder was a dog that consitantly killed all quarry day and night nothing more nothing less ....but just because a lurcher did not draw surely would not stop it from being classed as an all rouder as lurchers ...imo opinion a lurcher should be judged on its running and catching abilitys

How can anybody be so f*****g idiotic?! Shoot a dog for one mistake. Sensible people have given good advice on this thread mate, just ignore this couple of spastics. Would you be giving that advice if it was on your permission that his dog killed the sheep on? He obviously has not told the farmer that his dog has killed the lamb or offered to pay for it. So who is the farmer going to blame? Listen sonny, I have forgotton more about training dogs than you will ever learn. I totally agree with going back to basics but totally disagree of makeing him scared shitless off sheep for one I cant see how that would be achieved . Just get the dog back amongst sheep preferably with a live stock broken dog ....imo when breaking dogs to livestock you need to go about it differant from sheep and cattle . Cattle will approach and surround you and your dog so keep everything calm and alwyas reassure your dog that everything is ok as it must be very donting for a young dog to be surrounded by these huge animals ...for me is keeping everything calm and repeating the proccess

Some people would of had all rounders but how many owners gave the dog a chance to show if it was an allrounder ?...a dog that killed all quarry might not be an allrounder but that could be due to the owner not giveing the dog the oppertunity to become an allrounder

I have used it and sometimes still do it is a very good after care on wounds and seems to make hair grow on a bowling ball

Here is how I would advice how to clean up facial wounds . If the dog has had a partiuarly long or hard time once they are lifted I always have a bottle of electrolytes in the truck this is given to the dog if needed and wrapped in a jacket for the journey home . The dog is put in the shower with warm water..the worst of the dirt cleaned from the dog boday face ,eyes and inside mouth and washed with baby shampoo you can get right into any punctures with the shower and shampoo. Once the dog is dried of ... a plant sprayer bottle with diluted hibiscrub is sprayed into wounds takeing care no

Have to agree with sky cat there regarding antibiotics some folk administer them too often ....if you are going to be doing more digging I SUGGEST YOU READ UP ON THE AFTER CARE OF YOUR TYKE ....and try and get your hands on some noracarp or rymadil

Just wash him and inject him with penstrep or pennicillen and he will be grand. Not the best advice to give someone that is asking how to clean wounds if he is asking that kind of question he will not have much drug administration experiance Just clean the wounds best you can I use johnson baby shampoo in the shower as you can get the wounds cleaned right out without stinging the dogs eyes ...trust me it works a treat
