I was told a story about a lure once at a show from a lad that some of you jocks might know cant remeber his name But the story went like this ...his dog was that fast that it was racing at a show it had that much speed that it over took the lure and carried on running .....Fuk know what the dog was chasing after it had past lure?....his next tale was the rough red dog he had was on a hare then the dog snapped its back leg in half but it carried on the course for an other minute or so and killed the hare .....lets just say the conversation ended there -

Just a pic of a mate of mine s pup he got it from a lad down Glasgow way a mix of bull beddie whippet grey shes a decent wee sort and should make a good wee mooching and ferreting bitch . Just wondering of any one on here has one out of this litter they will be about 7 months

This thread was never about my dog but I dont know why you lied about me and said I offered my dog to stud and offered you money It was Bob who mentioned my dog in this thread and what he had to offer and as you can see I have offered to take him out any time he wants as he is only down the road from me and told him to bring along a dog and I will show him some good sport and show him what he has to offer. I still stand by my views on this that a well bred lurcher might have that little bit more to offer than a track dog but can also see that some lines might improve by adding track blood

Dam 3/4deergrey sire saluki type but this thread is not about my dog ....the reason for the thread is why people choose track dogs for there breeding that have never been tested in the field instead of a decent lurcher that could offer more attributes to the pups than just speed and judgeing from some pms some folks have got there knickers in a twist .

A mate had one up here a few yeears ago a dog called Mac a big powerfull animal that was very fast but struggled to turn ....in the right hands it would of been some dog
