Never really much change in levels on the lough as its controlled by locks on the river bann on its Northern shore, it'll rise in the winter at this end with plenty of rain and a southerly wind, it's 33 mile long so a big old lump of water. That photo is pure algae pushed against the banks by the wind, waters 3 or 4 feet deep there.

Believe me you've never seen an algae bloom like the one on lough neagh this year, 6 and 7 inches deep in places around it's shore like thick mud, it's killing the hatches of lough neagh flies from hatching that the fish and birds depends on. Pollution from slurry and fertilisers as well sewage is feeding the algae, I lived on the shore of the lough for 12 years, spent a lot of time on it boating and shooting have good friends that have fished the lough for 30 plus years and if they say its fcuked then it's fcuked.

Won't be testing again, the kids were all down with something last week and I had family members asking if I'd tested them for covid, nope won't be happening is what they were told.

They'd all be walking about disguised as Dianne Abbott.

Hasn't a state in Australia already put in place a week long lockdown.

I don't like the idea of any more laws or dogs being put on the dangerous dogs list but that's what happens when society doesn't police itself and the government steps in as its all they know. 99.9% of people that own xl bullies are I could guarantee absolute fckwits. THEY have caused this problem not the authorities.
-
I think the point your missing here with your comparison is that guns don't have a mind of their own... A gun isn't gonna Fcuk off out the front door by itself and kill some poor ole fella or a passing kid, gun control is there to keep the dregs of society from keeping them whereas any halfwit can own a potential killer and you only find out when some unfortunate dies.

I've only ever seen one that would of thought about giving you a little nibble if you didn't give him the full length of the lead while another dog was working but while not in that environment he was perfectly behaved, in my experience the bullx is one of the most laid back lurchers you could own and certainly a whole lot more stable than a lot of other crosses out there.
-
We use them for hunting.. Plenty in the wrong hands no doubt but what actual use do xl bulldogs have and are they worth the risk of having them around your family, genuinely interested as I know you own one or did.

Tell socks that gnasher has invited him to a few days scuba diving in the red sea and bird says it'll be a blinding few days. Lol.

Have one here that's just the kids pet so doesn't get worked, she's out of working racing stuff and is a keen little bitch that's lifted a handful of rabbits while out on walks and keeps the garden free from cats. Brilliant little dogs to have about the place.
-
If you haven't got quality bitches then any line is destined for failure, I personally think dogs take after the dam and bitches after the sire.

French kiss and finger up the arse supposed to work.....

Had to break one off a poor ole fellas dog outside a newsagents one evening after the chavy wanker that owned it done the runner, was a handful especially when there's a load of screaming women bouncing about pissing their pants.

I'd say the main reason they are the main victims is because dogs aren't stupid and there primal instinct is to pick a weak target, but get a 100 pound plus lunatic with bad intentions and you better hope your in earshot of help.
-
One determined dog and I'd say your pretty much fcuked, them dogs are breaking bones and ripping flesh with every bite. Some of them will need killing before they'll stop and if you can do that without a weapon your in a tiny minority.

Down of Alan's dogs by any chance? Has that look about it.

A good mate told his neighbour that if either of his kangals ever step foot on his property he's shooting them on sight, and he would. Bastrud things locked 24/7 in a small pen going nuts at anything that passes them.
-
Grand little dog you had there iww.

99% of my dogs were average if I'm being honest, i've owned a few special ones along the way but they'll never all be superstars, id rather have nothing than to keep anything not up to scratch but a steady honest dog be it terrier lurcher or hound and I'd be happy enough. Nobody was as critical about my dogs as me and sometimes it lead to me not realising what I had until it was gone and you had to replace it, that's when you realise what you had and how much shite is really out there.
-
I kept dogs that wouldn't of lasted 5 minutes in some men's yards but I always liked a handy little bolting dog to put foxes in front of the big dogs, id never of even considered breeding from them types.

Sorry to here that dytkos, easier said than done but keep your spirits up ole hand.

A friend of a friend has a H2, a beast of a bike, although the lad that owns it is a pretty sensible dude so it will rarely if ever be ridden proper fast but a nice thing to own if the wallet allows it.
