    Without the horsey folk and the money they provide the hunt wouldn’t exist mort. Anyway I’ll continue to follow the footpack that is only followed by genuine dog lads with real hunting and terrier work as it’s only goal and not entertaining the mounted field. And that really is how it is round HERE.

    Not in my neck of the woods. Went to a few meets of the local mounted pack years ago but it didn’t take long to realise it had fcuk all to do with actually hunting. And I can assure you there’s plenty more like it.

    Just my opinion but I don’t think the peddlers and the bullshitters fecked anything up how could they, if the Russell’s were that good why are they not still in a lot of yards, there was as many people no sorry more people keeping them as pets 30 or 40 years ago than there is today and I can laugh when people say you could of lifted any Russell of the street and it would of worked that’s just a load of bolloxs there was as much shite back then as there is today.     A mate who’s a mechanic has an old Octavia ex taxi that has over 260000 miles on it and still going and it gets abused. Lol. Bits and pieces fall off it constantly and the electrics are shot but the engine is flying.

    Agree with the lads saying a lurcher should be used as a runner first and foremost, if a lurcher is on a dig it should only be there for bolters and if a lad has to ask a lurcher to do his job he’s in the wrong game and doesn’t give a fcuk about terrier work, it was people like this that were one of the main reasons for both bans and should be shunned.
