    I had a George Kelly bred bed/whip cross greyhound , I had a brilliant 10 seasons with her and to be honest took her for granted, been out with and had lots of crosses but the effort ability and instinct beat all of them by a long shot, seen better on fox , deer hare etc but she found cought and killed , more than one string to her bow

    If the dog has not been leaned retrieve or recall you will or should know where it is by sound if it has nailed something too big to retrieve feck them silly bright collar's.. if you need one to find and get your dog back you are doing something seriously wrong..are you being serious? Try listening to something 100 meters away in a strong wind

    Went out other night me using lightforce 170 my mate using one of ey for 30 quid, his was better bem longer and tighter, the 170 has 100 watt bulb but isn't that good, what is the best lamp, is it the blitz for big fields

    I have a grey box with the original collar but want to add a couple more collars, do the mark 3 collars work with the old grey box? I take it there more reliable than the mark ones, ie bad connections

    My mates dog is the same, daytime he runs with conviction but on the lamp he doesn't run them back to the hedge , it's as if he's given in after the initial chase, trouble is the more he misses the less conviction?

    All dogs will have a bad day or two, maybe be unsighted or ill or over worked etc, an experienced dog man will no this from experience gained from persisting with dogs , inexperienced will get shut of dog, experience doesn't come from being in the game for years on end it comes from learning of your dogs an quarry
