    Looking at it it certainly looks like the cock bird but I wasn't sure, it also has a yellow ring on its leg as well as the bbc ring on its other leg?

    Is it possible to sex common redpoll, the problem is I had a pair but I let one out of the avary now I'm ot sure if its a cock or hen ! the one I have has moulted and has nice red on its breast and head, it was colour fed, the thing is even though it has the colour I think it's the hen?

    I have 6 spare siskins from this year,some through the moult , how much do they go for and is anyone interested in them, maybe a swop for other birds, the cock birds have started singing , they are out of a pair who had three rounds then a fourth that got smashed up by one of the young

    thanks penny, I feed dry food that I've used on all my dogs for a good few years , I also feed butchers scraps which last a few days every other week, I can't see any movement on his skin although he has bad dandruff

    My dog has very dry skin, always scratching,, going bold in some areas, tried shampoos for bad skin not worked not mange as I have a few dogs and there all good, trying cod liver oil now anyone good any thing else they would suggest

    For the past 2or3 seasons I've worn muck boots for lamping, I could do with a more comfy boot that's also waterproof , I like the look of the high boots by lowa , it are they comfy and is there better for that sort of price
