Those nails look perfectly normal to me, it's when they touch or tap on the floor when they are to long. The nails on the outside of the toes are the same thickness all the way down because they are being worn down by the looks of it, theres no spare nail if you get me. I know that if you clip a young pups nails too regular they grow back quicker but im not sure if it's the same principle with adults. Just keep up the roadwork and clipping now and agian and they will be fine. Those nails are immaculte compared to alot of dogs nails i have trimmed over the years.
