  1. Very smart bitch that, looks very well and alert looking.
  2. Cheers for the comments on my bitch!! In my opinion you can't go wrong with this cross, my bitch is plenty fast enough for tracking deer during the day, struggles with retreiving daytime hares, but gives it a good go!!
  3. The only non worker id put to one of my workers would be a greyhound but a decent one not just any old greyhound with balls or a uterus, one that either does abit in the field or was a good stamp of a racer, i've never come across a greyhound yet that wasn't game as hell! Why would you want to breed from a non working lurcher anyway?? Surely if you work your dogs you would want to breed pups with a high chance of being good workers, so breeding from dogs you are happy with in the field gives you more of a chance with the pups.
  4. Fantastic pictures there!! Looked a brilliant day!! Some cracking staffs there to.
  5. My merle bitch never gets first place as she wants to chase the other dogs instead, she never pays attention to the lure! That video being proof haha, she was clearly in front then stopped for a second to see where the others were then ran again lol, she had the hots for the black one!! Put a REAL lure in front of her and the other dogs wouldn't bother her............
  6. Cheers mate, yeah she's retrieved a few!
  7. I have no idea what you lot are on about!! What team is christiano ronaldo in? Im a fan of his team lol!
  8. Certainly hits home those videos, i am no saint when it comes to driving, i used to be incredibly stupid when i first past my test and learnt my lesson, i almost killed myself on the motorway, i ended up from the 3rd lane to the hard shoulder facing the other way, luckily i came away unharmed and drove home when the police moved my car back the other way, i have text while driving BUT only very rarely and i don't need to look at the screen when i write it.
  9. My mum used to run a 3/8 5/8 collie/grey, she definately had stamina to burn but lacked the speed, my 3/4 grey 1/4 border bitch has that extra speed and she doesn't tire easily, only now that she is getting old!
  10. Being a bull x owner and a cat owner i could not watch the whole of that video, my dogs are brought up with cats and know not to touch them, they may pay interest in a cat that isn't 'there's' BUT i can call them off if they go to chase it, they know the consequence. Regardless of whether you hate cats or not that was someones pet, probably a childs pet, watching your pet get killed is not nice, none of us would sit back and say poor doggy if it was any of our dogs killed like that, if that was my cat and i knew those dogs and owners there would be trouble!! That cat was on it's own lawn so wh
  11. I enjoyed reading that, good tale. I joined this site as a mere 16/17 year old, back then i didn't know to much about hunting, i used to take my bitch out for mooches as much as i could when i got her i was 13, we caught quite abit during the day, never lamped much as i could only do that when my step dad went out which was quite rare, i learnt alot of things when i joined this site, made a few friends as i never had any hunting friends lol, i always used to be against dogs being used to kill foxes etc thanks to this site and the poeple i got to know i realised how wrong i was, if it wasn't
  12. You had me with the topic title, thought who the feck has snow this time of year then thought well it is britain lol!! Good pics though, brings back some good memorys when the snow was down with the dogs!
  13. Of course it is going to be restless, you have just removed it from it's mum and littermates, the only things it knew, plenty of reassurance, somewhere warm and dry to sleep, good food and lots of tlc and it should settle, be prepared for a few restless nights, remember it is just a baby so treat it like one for now.
  14. Well hope to meet everyone then, we definately won't be hard to miss with our pack!!
  15. All look top dogs, like the black and white dog furthest to the right!
  16. I paid a tenner each for my ferrets, well worth it, i know they are from a line of good workers, five pounds for a ferret is nowt, i certainly won't just give my kits away free to any willy nilly when they're ready, people think a ferret is just 'another' thing, they still need plenty of love and care like any other animal, nobody grumbles when people charge over £100 for a puppy!! Good luck with yours fella. Don't keep dropping the price as that's what people wait for!
  17. What,,not even a bull cross,, What's that got to do with human pregnancy testing on dogs??!! i cant believe you bit lol I was in the right mood to do so!! Lol.

  20. Very nice bitch that mate is it half cross?
  21. What,,not even a bull cross,, What's that got to do with human pregnancy testing on dogs??!!
