  1. I have bull x's purely because i love how they look and i love their character, they suit my nature i.e collie x's are just too sensitive for me! They suit the work i use them for and never let me down, i prefer the racier types as i need a runner! I curently have a 1/4 bull/grey and she's the best dog i have had, i think alot of bull x's end up in the wrong hands just like alot of bull breeds and they get a bad rep, you can't tar them all with the same brush, like marmite, you love em or hate em!!
  2. Mine are purely just happy pups with basic training being taught, they may have a run or two in the daytime if the others put something up but nothing major, then around 10-12 month old they go out for a couple of nights a week with an older, experienced dog who knows the job to show them the ropes then gradually let them on their own, they soon pick up and i haven't ever had a yapper yet, well i've only brought up 4 lol.
  3. I like those alot, well done on getting the pup back not many would have cared. Would love to see these when fully grown and matur, good luck with them!!
  4. Cheers all for replies, the little merle bitch is 3/4 grey 1/4 collie x whippet.
  5. A good honest post mate, i hope the bitch get's the home she deserves.
  6. There is no set amount of food for any dog, depends on height, size, weight and level of activity, this time of year my dogs get 1/3 of the amount that they get when working in the winter, if your dog isn't losing weight then you need to feed less or exersize more, you should always be able to clearly feel the ribs and see about 2 of them when fit, i just keep a check on mine and adjust accordingly. HTH.
  7. Haha ill show this pic to the next man that tells me i can't cook, see what he thinks then, mind you i wouldn't want to eat the bloody thing, i'd make him eat it!!!

  22. collie/grey simmer down young lady Actually, give em hell doll. timbo, keep after em son, you are killin me. LOL! Me simmer down with a joke of a thread like this lol. Flint says it all. All about the money 'my son could have got £800 a pup if it were pure malamutes' pathetic so cross it with the grey and sting the public £300 so he can still make a tidy sum out of lurchers......by bigging them up as the next best thing in the lurcherworld!! Selling to MATES says it all aswell, since when did mates get charged??
  23. A tried and tested dog to me is a dog that is out on a regular basis, with a good consistant catch rate on the chosen qaurry for 3/4 seasons and more.
