    tell me about it, i took mine out on the bike last night, knackerin! And he kept tryin 2 bite my leg for the first half mile or so! its a well good way of creapin up on rabits and things, gona start using the bike more!

    Air Arms S410 .22 3-9x40 scope All pest species My Ratcatcher is zeroed to about 8yrds with a 4x30 scope (its a bit crap tho, i want a red dot for it) and its got a lazer zeroed at the same range for shootin rats in the barns

    i did a google search for custom rat catchers a while ago, and it did come up with a few folding rat catchers from the states, some of them looked dam fine, u can also get a screw in stock for the rat catcher, but it looked a bit shit.

    they are both good guns, i would say the s410 (cos i have one and love it), but my mate would say the ultra (cos he has one and he loves it)!

    it decreases the range, but is smaller and easier to manouver in confined spaces, and i only use it for barn work and ocasionaly very close vehicule work (its zeroed to about 8yrds), so its better for me to have a stubby little gun with a shorter efective range. i have an s410 for the long shots! you may find it a bit harder with the farmers being younger, it helps if u r insured n a member of BASC, n dont wear camo, or tracckie bottoms tucked in socks n a tn cap!

    trading estates golf courses hotels bussiness parks horse paddocks mansion houses chicken farms and pig farms r always good for the rats, and the farmers are usualy keen to let you at them. Have you got insurance, if u r a member of BASC u get 10mill liability (i think), that helps, because then u r not just some matey with a gun, u are a responsible shooter. good luck mate n keep trying!     ive taken down afew rabbits with mine (quite close range tho), i sawed the barrel down a bit, i use mine for barn work and ocasionaly a vehicule gun. in my opinion probably the best mod you can do for it is to buy a new breach block with dovetails on it, cos the pro blocks that come with it are shite, i had quite a large scope on mine and it was always getting knocked off the zero where the pro blocks moved around. there are loads of other mods you can do, google crooked barn.com they have loads of stuff. they sell a valve that does a co2 cilinder in about 10 shots, my mate had one in a rat bl

    these things r sent to try us, i dont have a safety to contend with but i have gone out without my mag, not checked the mag and fired an empty chamber, not checked my pressure and had the pellet wedge halfway down my barrel!

    i would take it to a gun smiths mate, when i got my gun serviced they aligned the barrel and the scope, it sounds like ur barrel may be slightly bent. ur gun has a free floating barel doesnt it? can you get a clamp to hold it onto the air tube?

    Did any of you go to the cow pie and see the terrier racing? the last race where they let the big dogs have ago, some matey entered his lurcher and it properly smashed in to the bloke peddaling the lure, proper did the dog in, had to b taken off on an atv. It had just got up to full speed as well, not good, he should have never hav let it run over such a small course. My dog came second, but as the winner couldnt leave the areana un aided, does that mean mine won by default

    my mates pat sometimes starts skitzin out when we come back from walks, usualy [bANNED TEXT] she has been wet or runnin thru nettles, she is always fine afterwoods, we call it the little dog madness lol
