  1. I'm in. Rules seem straight forward to me, good job.
  2. Just thinking of buying a lithium from north east field sports, best price I've seen so far. But will wait a bit longer, and if you find one cheaper soonish, you certainly have an invite out this Autumn
  3. You wont be able to get any info from the number, and if its a pay as you go, there ill be no info even if you could get it. Where is the dog now ? Is it still in surrey ?
  4. Have a look on your local councils web site, see if they have countryside rangers, then email them, asking if they have any rabbit problems.
  5. Contact the country side rangers, if you have them in your parts. I have a ton of permission from 2 of my local ones, but some of the others are proper anti types, so its a bit hit and miss.
  6. Both look crackers, but love that Merle.
  7. So has, or hasn't the dog been mated ?
  8. Adrian Childs, the one of the one show, Alan Titmarsh and Kate humble all get on my t*ts
  9. "eggs of Orange tips"? can someone enlighten me please. Its a butterfly that lays its eggs on it.
  10. I've copy pasted that for the future, cheers langouroux
  11. Better to go in person, as letters are easy to ignore. I've always found it easy to get ferreting permission, but lamping is harder, and easier gotten if you've already got the ferreting permission, and done a good job causing no problems to the farmer.
  12. Tate, Red, Blue, Stinky, funny foot, Onion, Pickle and chutney.
  13. Same here, all the ones I've lost in the last 3 years were daytime, as I lock in at night. Foxy will always find a weak spot. And who ever said birds aren't affected by electric fencing, hasn't seen a chicken lean on one while walking. If there earthed to the ground, they get a slap like we all do, if they land on it, and are not earthed, they can get away with it.
  14. Keep it there, if it touches the ground, or vegetation, it reduces it a hell of a lot, and as said the fox will still come in contact if it tries to go under. It will touch the fence before trying to go under anyway, which should put it off. Best way to stop the fox is to lock in at night, and let out in the morning, using the fence to stop daytime raids.
  15. waste not want not, get it down em.
  16. Start up costs are high, arc, electric fence, slap marker, setting up water ect, feed costs are quite high, unless you can source a lot yourself. Pigs are cheap, mine were £25 each wiener, there about 2 months, keep them to 6 months for pork, older for bacon, about a year any older sausage. All breeds vary in weights and size ect. So depends what you go for. Dunno what you get back meat wise, but most people say its not greatly coast effective, I'll see soon enough. Its more about knowing where your meat comes from, and stuff, than money saving. But in saying that, I recon y
  17. If its in fairly large chunks, wrapping it in parma ham and roasting it works well.
  18. I'll let you know mate, though it will be a while before I take a pure kk to slaughter. The 2 cross breeds will be going in about 4 months, if they make a good size, if not, a couple of months later.
  19. Not ferns mate, fir's or conifer's
  20. Some sort of ground nesters, with the increase in air fields ? Or collared doves ?
  21. You can just change the lamp lens holder, all the handles are the same. So just buy a striker lens case, and 50w bulb, then put them on your variable blitz handle.
  22. Paid

    Incubators

I'll put a second vote in for the brinsea octagon range, i have used the 10 and the 20, currently using a 20 pro with auto turner, and its a cracking bit of kit, well worth the money.
  23. A Dunock in my garden, the nest is about 30% my dogs hair.
  24. I have an 8 month old kune kune boar now, and have ordered 2 gilts from a fourth coming litter some one has planed. So once these 2 are off to slaughter, I'll stick with the kune kune pure breeding. Here's the boar, he is a bit shy at the moment
  25. couple of google image search images
