  1. Thanks for that S.P that was an amusing read. I've book marked that link, for there other news.
  2. Def have staberlizers at first, and wear a helmet.
  3. They make good working pets. Need a good walk/run like any dog. The more the better really, as of course after a nice long walk, there then happy to lay infront of the fire. They maybe a bit too head strong for beating, but depends on your training, and the dogs temprament. Certainly be up for it energy wise, and cracking for bushing/flushing. But prone to chase what there not allowed too But again, depends on temprament. Mine is only half beddy/whippet, the other half is collie/grey but theres certainly a few less cats around my property, which suits me just fine. Min
  4. with photo bucket you can make albums private, which means you can post the link, people can view the linked picture, but not your others. goto the top, click account options, then down the bottom on the left are Album Settings, and theres a box for Public/Private, choose private.
  5. Made my own lure machien year before last, and had a bit of fun with it. Going to do the same this summer too. Also entered my dog into an upcoming lure course thing for a laugh, he will chase anything, so no worrys there.
  6. I've voted LDR, but its going to be a good final what ever the outcome.
  7. Well done LDR, and well done for a close match L&B.
  8. I'm after something striker size, not fussed about torch size, just think a striker casing fitted with high inteserty leds would be good. The battery would go a lot longer, and the lamp casing would sort the beam out. I dont have a while to try putting something together, as my blitz got confiscated on friday lol.
  9. Yeah we need a few more trips to finnish off the season, tonight, and thursday might be good.
  10. Sounds good, preffer the shorter verion lol, maybe i should read all those stickies up the top there some time.
  11. added a couple of last nights runs to the start
  12. Just another question, not a critersisum, and I'm sure, a difficult one to work out. Where people run. see, I understand that you need land to host a run, and most should really be able to supply this, but it does seem, so far, some people have rarely strayed from there home grounds. This i have viewed as more of a problem than the "by" thing. What exactly is the ruling here ? I know in some cases, the judges have supplied the land, and this certainly seems the ideal so land both partys cant really call home. Its a tricky one. has anyone asked for land either part
  13. I think the by should just remain as is, it hasnt really caused any upset, if you cant make it, then you know yourself you have forfeit, no one else is to blame. at the end of the thing, the best dog should out, as even if you go most of the way on bys, which would be very rare, you still have to meet a dog that didnt. also the north/south thing, when would that end ? or if following the card, would it go right to the end ? I preffer the hat draw, as then you dont have to run the person nearest, who you prob know anyway.
  14. Nice one, I'll be sure to pop in in july then. I personaly think you've done a real good job of it and can only see it geting bigger, and better. Well done mate.
  15. I'd like to put me name down for next year, but dont really come on these sites in the summer, is there anyway to do this, or is it certainly going to be started, as in names in, in july? If so I'll be sure to pop in around that time.
  16. I'd take i back to its home, site, estate or fecking castle

  21. Out with Sonny Brindle last night, and took the video camera, 6 rabbits bagged, and only 3 caught on cam lol. 5 to blue, 1 to Sonny, which pleased me lol, because Sonny on previous trips was starting to catch upto blue Had a friend along with his 2 whippet/saluki pups, 5 months old, just for a look and a bit of exercise. There looking like there going to make good little workers, there a kc whippet, to the scout dog from hampshie.
  22. I have many 100% non shopped for meals between the allotment and the hunting. Cant beat a good home grown/hunted meal.
  23. They are now farming them, so the market price will drop in a few years. Its a real long term farming practise, takes about 7 to 10 years for a crop, but after that they keep going, and improving. Prob with using pigs is, you need to be in there fast, or the pig eats them
