    We are due a trip for some sea trout but in the mean time the wee man was back with the fly for an hour. Nothing big, biggest being 3lb.

    My oldest was out opening day just on his local rainbow dam on Sunday. He managed 12 on the fly. My good rung me Monday night and asked if he could take him away for a morning on some fresh running fish , these are something that gets Ewan excited . Destination was top secret my mate said ?, picked up at 5.30am and I started work at 7am. Around 9.30am I received my 1st clip of my boy bringing a lovely barr of silver to the bank, no a Cheshire cat never had a look in.     My young fella been counting the weeks till we get started. The pup has just come into season. Good timing as far to warm anyways so at least that's that out the way for the season.hope everyone has a safe one this year.
