    Yeh mate im out picking them at the moment, there just starting to ripen now, Im washing and freezing them untill ive got a decent amount to do something with. I fancy making some ''Tonic'' if you can suply the recipe

    Same happened to my dad and brother, weather report for the area was fine and a snow storm blew in at the top of Helvellyn lucky they were also prepared. They had to help some idiots down who where in t-shirts and shorts

    Yep im allready picking the black and juicy ones saves them from the birds, theres not loads about but im washing them and freezing them until I have a quantity worthy of a nice crumble or some jam

    Colour doesnt make a difference at all when your out and about hunting, my mate has a cracking white bullx and its never stopped him, I do agree with strong stuff about the cuts tho but just take a bottle of water with you when you go out and give the dog a quick wash.
