Stans a bit older than me i didnt see him for years then i found out he lived a few miles away !.....Years ago Stan knocked out Terry o Connor the referee who stopped John ( Stans son ) controversially against Tyson Fury a few years ago.......Stan reckons he only stopped him as revenge for years earlier ......you gotta admire family loyalty he never even said it with a smile on his face.

That cant be right mate you dont get world title shots with a 7-7-1 record at a guess id say he probably had 40-50 fights winning a lot more than he lost otherwise why get a title shot i know he was beaten by Emille Griffith quite easily.......but he was a good fighter no doubt about it.......i dont know much about his case but i cant see the wbc honouring a known murderer so must of been enough reason to think he was wrongly convicted......but like i say i dont know the ins and outs. Nothing to do with Hollywood distortion mate Carter was a very good fighter fought Emiile Griffith for the world title,also lost to Dick Tiger both legendary names of that era......theres a film about him played by Denzel Washigton who plays the part real well so im told......he was given an honourary belt by the wbc after his release.....im not even sure if he,s still alive to be honest he,d have to be in his late 70,s i only know what ive been told by folk old enough to remember.

Right ok i didnt think id heard of him........i think that was only an interim title that Casey fella fought for but still a top fighter nonetheless didnt he win a European title im sure i remember him winning one of the prizefighter tournaments though i might be getting him mixed up with someone else.......featherweight or bantamweight or something....i dont really like them prizefighter tournaments i just cant resist that York Hall atmosphere though

Never worn one myself but some folk swear by them.....all to do with the copper being absorbed by the skin for the relief of joint pain or something like that.....what the difference could be to taking some kind of oral supplement i dont know,but if folk think they are getting benefit good luck to them.
