Group 4/Securicor have a staff of around 600,000 and an annual turnover of 5 billion over 100+ countries...................When they became the first private firm to transport prisoners they lost 7 in the first week !!.......The managing director was hauled up in front of the high court to expalin why prisoners were constantly late for court hearings...........Never mind making a f**k up of the Olympics,these are the people we trust to transport 90% of UK bank notes......around 300 billion per year !!!!! We,d of been better off hiring the A Team to do the Olympics !

Yep agreed.....trouble is for a lad like Carroll is he,s been born into the wrong generation.......10/15 years ago he would of been a cracking addition to any English side..........today with all the slow build up continental approach id doubt we,ll ever see the best of him......imagine him on the end of some of them Beckham type crosses.

Certainly not comparing them as proven players..................im just comparing them for form......and the fact is Rooney/Young were in poor form and Carroll outshone them..........might mean nothing once the seasons off and running but i still keep in mind Carrolls a young lad on the up.

With all due respect to you Man Utd lads.......if forms anything to go by ( Euros ).....the only England striker who DIDNT look championship standard was Carroll !!.......Rooney looked like he could of spent his career at Barnsley and Ashley Young,well he looked like he,d never played the game before !! Carrolls a young lad who wont even of got near his peak yet with the right service that boy will do some damage...............you got to look past a silly 35 mill price tag.

Nobodies sayings the boys world class......but i certainly dont think he lacks skill.......seems to have a good football brain and doesnt usually need an extra touch to get a ball under control...........in todays times a big old fashioned centre forward like Carroll is going to spend most of his time with his back to goal so there touch has to be good........with good service i think he could be a 20+ goals a season striker regularly.........but its whether he gets the service and sides play to his strengths.

Sad for the chap whos been killed and his family etc....................but lets face it,if he wasnt a copper it wouldnt even of made the news..................i accept and respect the fact they do a tough and dangerous job........but personally i dont put more value on a plods life than id put on any other member of society.

Im no Arsenal fan......but in fairness,every year people say that.....and every year they finish top 3 or 4 I think this could be a horrible season for English football......i can see City mopping up everything and leaving 3 or 4 clubs scratching round for the runners up spots.

I agree..................also,in an instance like this with Carroll it kind of softens the blow of making a bad signing when you know you havent got to pick up the players wages because he can try and win the title with another team that you bought him to win for you !!..............Not that West Ham will be challenging for the title but you get my drift.....................and then whenever it suits ask for him back......theoretically Wayne Rooney could be loaned out to Chelsea and win the Premiership with them,then go back and with it with Utd next year. It was at Borehamwoods ground Wilf Meadow Park ....nice little ground actually.....we normally play Grays pre season but dont think they are this year,Southend next,then Colchester and off to Germany.................. Personally i think this whole loaning premier league players to other premier league clubs should of been banned years ago.................but certainly wouldnt turn my nose up at Carroll.
