But can the physical benefits not be gained through any type bull terrier ?......are they not too dog aggressive ?.....
-
Ive never owned a cross dog full stop......but have an interest in both these breeds as individuals......what i dont understand is what the main benefits from the cross actually are, surely if your crossing dogs you want to utilize the qualities and rid the bad traits to end up with an improvement of what both breeds could do as individuals.......that being the main objective to crossing breeds. Well what exactly does an Apbt add to the mix as regards qualities ?...........Ive been reading this thread with interest but cant help but wonder when i hear things like " Gary Hammonds breeds his Pat

Classic......................should of kept us going a bit longer with that one might of get there in the end.
-
Dont know how he spelled it.......but does Effan " Acuckoo " count ?

Beat me to it ! Grant C......Rangers problem is their problem not footballs.........They,re not in the position they,re in because Wayne Rooney or Frank Lampard earn a mill a month !!................and what you would do with a high wage is nothing to do with it either ..............Cant really see what relevance any money outside Scotland has to do with it to be honest.....but in fairness i havent followed the whole saga so its not for me to have an opinion....i was just referring to your statements about players wages in general.
-
Maybe your just not playing for as much money as i am .............................but yes, your probably right either way
-
Its a great philosophy Malt.............but i think you gotta have a bundle of talent in the first place to have an attitude like that......some of us just dont possess that I understand what your saying mate.....i just never went along with that " its not whether you win or lose its how you play the game " carry on
-
I thought you said you wanted footballers docked money to go to charity and what not because they earn too much..........whats that got to do with junkies and benefit cheats ................................................................i,ll leave you to it
-
Well then we certainly do differ.....i also love a game of chess......but i absolutely detest losing, hence i often have games with pals that take weeks to get finished.....each time we go to each others gaff we take a picture of how the board is left for next time .....sad i know but when you have 2 serious competitors neither of who want to lose it often dont make for an entertaining spectacle ..............same as the footie mate its not always about entertainment its about winning....at any cost.

Any man is worth what someones willing to pay........why do you want to take money off footballers but not any other high earners ?........What about stockbrokers or top notch business men dont you think they should be docked a whack or is it just footballers because they are an easy target and their wages are up for public scrutiny. The more you have the more you spend the more you need its simple mathematics......if a man has a special talent he deserves to be well paid for it.....simple.

Your a good man and id imagine he,s as happy with you as you are with him Says everything really about the way them Brazilians are raised on the game they just seem to have such natural ability you cant help but admire them......must be a great experience for your boy and long may it continue. Just to add.....probably a daft question but are any of those games over there televised ?
-
Exactly the same as me mate hindsites a great thing but looking back i was a complete tosspot probably lumped all my own failings as an athlete onto him and wanted to live my dreams through him....he ended up hating me for it and its a bitter pill to swallow of course but we live and learn.

You're right and it's wrong IMO! Why is it wrong...........any sport played at the very highest level is going to be a chess match you cant expect them both to just come out swinging when theres so much at stake. We Brits are so used to watching the excitement of the Premiership we dont sometimes realise its not like that everywhere else

Good lad ......when you sent me a link ages ago i kept an eye out for that Pittsburgh side from time to time,so is he not playing for them anymore.....it says he,s signed for this Ocala mob so i take it he dont play for the University no more ? Wont do him no harm playing alongside Brazilians even if their not absolute top notch even the way they do things will still be a great influence on him.....how old is your lad now mate ? any chance he,ll ever come back over here maybe get a game in the lower leagues ? Cheers for the link.

oh right ok fair enough......clear to see the dislocation cant see how it would break though....just shows the forces they,re putting through the joints.
-
Doubt if it was a break most probably the tendon ripped off the bone i had it happen on an elbow joint while arm wrestling many years ago ......nasty injury takes ages to recover from as the tendon doesnt have a blood supply.
-
You really think so Malt.......personally i think its got the makings of a cracking final it should be the typical boxer versus slugger type match up.......after all the games we,ve seen i reckon the 2 best sides in the tournament are in the final i think Italy are packed with quality in every area.......and Spain probably havent got out of second gear yet.....im really looking forward to it.
-
I dont know what the yanks way of coaching is like or who they are taking influence from id imagine its quite exciting for them as they are pretty much a blank canvas that can copy and take things from whatever part of the world they like as regards their way of coaching.........sadly over here we,re stuck in a time warp.....id be interested to know how or if your lads game has changed Lanesra and if its for the better.......my boy i would liken to a Steven Gerrard type player nowhere near his level of course but had that same drive and power pushing through midfield, fantastic desire to make t

I believe that tactically we could go up our own arses if made too complicated...................we do have strengths we just dont play to them.....as much as id like to see us getting the ball on the floor and playing like Spain we dont have the quality to do that, hopefully in future generations and with a different outlook to the game from schoolboy football up,we will start to see that.................but for the time being our strengths are the same old " English way " of power and pace..........i wouldnt pretend to think i know more than Roy Hodgson about tactics but it makes sense to me

Couldnt agree more Stan. I found this out some years ago my son was a real good talent played for a well known club locally and eventually got picked up by Leyton Orient,ok not the greatest club in the world but he was getting on the ladder.....he,s a big strong powerful lad but had a good touch and generally a good understanding of the game could read situations quick etc..........he went there as a central midfielder and within a few months they had put him into the back four as a centre half.......all the nice touches and quick brain he had were forgotten about and his whole game became ab

No your right they are .............we travelled from Donetsk up to Kiev by taxis believe it or not......we knew we had near 5 days to do it so just stayed here and there and travelled a bit ever day its around 550 miles between the 2......we did the same in France in 98 its a good giggle and a great way to get into the lifestyle of a country......the grounds themself were fantastic the Olympic Stadium in Kiev was as big and futuristic as any ground ive ever been to in Europe....food and drink was a pit pony but you dont go to footie for the dining experience do you......for a mile or so arou
-
I guess it could be said Brazil were always the Harlem Globetrotters of the football world......and that level of skill in itself was enough to achieve success.....................at the other end of the scale the British strength pace and dogged determination mentality is enough to get a little success also...................but todays top sides like the Germans and maybe even the Italians and Portugese possibly have the correct combination of both...................maybe the Spanish are leaning more towards the old Brazilian mentality and getting away with it due to higher fitness levels etc

I actually think Baw has a really interesting theory with this European style thing.....im not sure i agree with it but its something ive not heard before that certainly makes you think and it has to be said there is some logic to it...... I dont go a bundle on statistics as they can sometimes be made to look however you want them to look......and the fact the last 3 out of 4 world cups have been won by European nations somewhat throws his theory to shit......but i like his thoughts regards Torres thats definately a theory that holds a lot of weight.......... Maybe the reality is Baw the Eur

Hello mate my sons shit hot with Japanese cars he,s round at the moment so i just threw your question at him.......he reckons,if you unbolt the inner joint first and turn the steering as far one way as possible theres just enough clearance to remove the shaft from the hub without removing the ball joints............ He might be wrong i dont know but to give him his due he does know his stuff....leave a number if you like and i,ll get him to talk you through it.....best of luck.
