Same with darts.....used to start off with a good 20/25 people all putting a tenner in....2 or 3 people left and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife.....funny days. Mind you i was diabolical at darts at least i had half a chance at pool.

Wilf when we,ve been in relegation battles in the past did you think we had an entitlement not to be then as well ? What im saying to you is our fans have unwittingly developed some kind of " big club " mentality that thinks along the lines of a Man Utd or Arsenal supporter in terms of " how dare we be in a relegation battle " The reason some of our fans now think this way is solely because of the move to the new ground.......to me its business as usual.

Progress can ONLY be on a football pitch though mate im f****d if im going to start singing Sweetest Victory because we now play in a 60k arena in a shopping complex instead of a shitty old football ground next to a bus garage ! What i fell for is what we all as locals fell for and was over the moon with at the time. What you fell for only about 1 in 3 of our fans fell for and could have/should have been stopped ! The reality is we didnt fight hard enough as a community to stop the move because too many fans from off the plot had eyes too big for their belly ?

I liked my club mate....so yes i was perfectly happy with everything,infact in our last few seasons at Upton Park we were showing steady improvement season to season to the point where we had our highest Premier League finish and European football.....now we,re in a relegation battle.....Spurs and Arsenal were always bigger clubs than us i dont have a problem with that...Millwall are our rivals and some of our fans need to remember that ? I played a lot of pool as a younger man i became half decent ( and table tennis )... B wing champ in Chelmsford and 2's champ in Wandsworth early 90,s ? Didnt play for a while then started playing in a Friday aftenoon pool club in South London...playing killer for decent money soon livened my game up again ? I think the good thing to come out of the whole Var era will be a new found respect for referees as fans can now see just what a difficult job they have......hence,if Var was binned now today referees will actually come out of it well,they wont get so much of a hard time and us as fans get our old game back......everyone wanted Var...we,ve tried it and its horrible...so elbow it and carry on......goal line tech,yes....Var a big fat NO ?
