    TAX ?

After the 1.5 trillion we have sent to Africa over the last 40 years im sure they will be wanting to send a few bob back to us in our own hour of need.....being as how they have hardly been effected at all by this virus.
  3. Thats a relief.....can imagine the fright it caused though, bet you cant stop making her cups of tea now....hopefully all go,s smoothly going forward.
  4. I was beginning to think the old gaff had packed up.....thought i was going to have to start buying a newspaper !

  6. The other day you was telling everyone how much life you had in you.....come on pops stick in ? You alright for everything food/house wise ?
  7. Stone me thats shit......sorry to hear that.
  8. Me too.......as long as theirs pictures ? No... ta for explaining....i suppose like anything new you cant make predictions until patterns form....makes sense.
  9. Arrrrrr right i get it now......i bit someones head off a bit on the phone earlier for keep using the word " peak " and " downward trend " in the same sentence ? Got it....so it go,s up but not as far as last time it went up why didnt he just say that....crude but simple !!
  10. I dont know enough about it all to be honest, like most folk im all eyes and ears at the moment but on the subject of recovery.....i keep an eye on the Worldometers site for stats....have you got any idea why we are the only country in the world with N/A in the Total Recovered column ?....i cant work it out ?
  11. I agree why have we not seen the government launch a massive advertising campaign to recruit young Brits to get out and do this work for a decent little wage....all done in the same spirit and enthusiasm we are supporting the NHS with every day....this clapping lark has gone from spontaneous appreciation to some barmy enforced jollity where once again the media/government push this cult like mentality on us and abuse each and every nice little idea that comes up to feather their own nests.......and dont give me that " Brits wouldnt do it for that money ".....cut their benefits and give them on
  12. Im not clever at all.....but when a new hospital built to cope with 4000 patients only has 19.......it either suggests an absolute tidal wave is coming....or someone f****d up somewhere along the line !
  13. Hoo f****n ray !!....good man.....perfect post. If people stuck up for their own, supported their own, helped their own wherever possible, and turned their back on out and out wasters.....everyone rises up a level in society. Our responsibility is to each other not foreign aliens.
  14. Im trying to get into this " tolerance " thing the ol woman keeps nagging me about ....so no thats fine I just prefer good old fashioned conversation ?
  15. I know nothing about the man but a lad recently told me about one of his records and just out of pure curiosity i had to work out the maths.....but it worked out that he had done the equivalent to something like 200 press ups.....every hour.....of every day......for 1 year ?......i still cant work out if thats good, great or very slightly deranged.
  16. Why is it not an issue.....it enhances performance no ? Any and every innovation in sport is a performance enhancer.
  17. I totally get that....for me sport was always about competing but i know thats not for everyone....with the right attitude personal achievement and a yearning for progress can make yourself the toughest opponent you will ever face.....good luck to the lad i admire that type of commitment. But no i still dont get the whole social media thing it seems like a movement based on telling the world how special you believe you are...but its ok im just old fashioned ?
  18. Why are his achievements false ?.....are his achievements also false because he,s wearing lycra shorts and not the old cotton speedos from 40 years ago ?....he,s a human being using technology to better performance just like everybody else does in sport and life in general.........its only false if he competes in a sport that forbids it......and he doesnt.
  19. No of course your right it was standard " get him through the game " type treatment....the amount of 80,s footballers walking round today with shot knees due to cortisone is unbelievable....let us know how it go,s mate.
  20. There we go perfect. Could have saved myself posting !
  21. So we,ve gone from bulldog spirit to useless ponces in a generation.....a generation that has seen us import the third world......just coincidence i guess. Diversity is just wonderful dont you think.
  22. Obviously you,d have to find out whats wrong with it you might not even need surgery but cortisone into a tendon is a big no no nowadays i wont go right into it but its all to do with cell viability and how collagen fragments etc its like a 2 steps forward 3 steps back kind of thing.....these days they are doing Platelet rich plasma treatments where they put your own blood back into painful areas to regenerate cells in the blood and cause the tendons to heal themselves....its stopping a lot of folk having to go under the knife for many elbow problems, obviously issues like mine are too far gon
  23. Never heard of the chap but looks a strong healthy specimen so good luck to him....personally i dont understand this era of Youtube fame to me physical training thats not competitive sport orientated is just a basic lifestyle choice....yes push your body to the limit as part of self achievement thats great but " putting it out there " for Youtube likes just seems a little bit silly to me but it might just be a generational thing....each to their own though and if it keeps him motivated to train then great.
  24. I didnt really have much pain it was more a range of motion type thing i tore the tendon off the bone arm wrestling years ago and had it fixed but its happened again twice more since and theres always a partial tear there as it doesnt fully repair.... its so hard to heal tendons quickly as you have to get a ton of blood flow through it and so it left the tendon attachment point frayed and didnt bridge the gap properly....i had almost given up on ever getting it right again but a really good surgeon i saw convinced me of a different way of doing the surgery and now im very hopeful.....i was pro
