  1. Hi I am thinking of buying this scope, but i'm not sure of the quality. It's for my BSA goldstar .22.
  2. Whats your best price on the Hawke posted?
  3. Hi Davy No I never lube my pellets. I liked the idea of the anti tamper version because my thoughts were I could never get into any bother with it. But I do know how to get around it to decrease the power, but this would defeat the object of buying the anti tamper version.
  4. Hi Phantom It was on the brink before this problem accured. It was 11.8 with baracudas. You are right Phantom I was dropping bunnies at 40 and 50 yards with my 97k, chronoed it today and it was at 10.9ft/lbs.
  5. Hi Andy Si gave me a good tip clean your barrel before changing pellet brand. And put at least twenty shots through it to recoat the barrel.
  6. Hi The TX200 and HW97k are superb springers they are unbeatable. http://gunmart.net/gun_review/air_arms_tx200_vs_the_weihrauch_hw97k/

Hi Fair price even without a scope. Its one of the best springers out there. Get a sling fitted its a little on the heavy side for carrying around all day.
  10. Naughty collie playing the wolly.
  11. Hi Gary I'll give them a ring in the morning. It maybe in the tolerance range, but I would prefer it to be around 11.8 max. Thanks
  12. Yes the power probably puts the rifle close to the limit and in some cases with a Ox over the limit which is dangerous and illegal but that extra power is no good as the rifle is not accurate past 25 metres. It's swings and round abouts. For me I'd sooner have a rifle that is 10.9 foot pounds but accurate out to 55 metres to within a kill zone than one at 11.9 or over in some cases that can't group in a kz further than 25 metres. What's other peoples views on the power to accuracy question? Si Hi In a hunting situation I do not see the point in going F.A.C with a .1
  13. Hi Lads Sent my rifle back to my local gunshop (won't mention any names) due to a leaking regulator, had it back on friday problem solved. Now a new problem has arised, a few months back it was doing 11.8 with baracudas and 11.6 with AA's, now its putting out around 12.4ft/lbs.
  14. They do, same as the Beaman Silver Bear but I can't find anywhere that stocks them. I've used them many years back in .177 and they were fine, really just a flathead with a daft little bit in the middle but they did fly OK. Hi Not much about for .20 calibre http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/575/105887/handn-hollow-point-20-pellets-x-200-hnhp20?src=froogle
  15. Try ringing BSA a mate of mine got a mag for his Goldstar a couple of years ago I am looking to get the double mag 18 shot, Phantom provided the weblink , not sure if bsa sells them but i'll give them a try. Thanks
  16. Thanks mate, not sure about the mag, i've got to order one monday.
  17. I've read that Rachel Waite proved a point, taking a national Hunter Field Target round at Basingstoke using a Daystate X2 model clearing the course with 60ex60.
  18. I would definately consider the s200 over the ultra. AA S200 5lbs 13.5oz Brocock Contour 3lbs 14oz FX Cyclone Carbine 4lbs 13.6oz AA S410 Carbine SuperLight 4lbs 15.4 oz
  19. If your lucky , i might let you touch it ............ one day Thanks for the offer Buster, but I prefer women.
  20. Your rifles look like they are in A1 condition. I started out with the BSA Supersport around 15 year ago. I deeply regret selling it for £40 a few years back. I originally paid £115 from new with silencer and i'm shocked at the price of them now.
  21. Can't say fairer than that, mate. Hope you can get a replacement mag OK... Has he got any other bargains going?? Not at the moment, but got my eyes on his Daystate Airwolf he said when its ready to go i've got first dibs £800.
  22. I did'nt need to haggle with him, he originally wanted £50 for it. I approached him earlier on today and he said that he would feel guilty if he sold it me for £50, so you can have it for £30 because I only paid £20 for it. He's a real genuine bloke Thanks Mate
