I would gladly test it if you were a bit more local. I'd be careful if your tx is from new the power will creep up around 0.5 when the spring beds in. Thanks Mate
  6. Hi Lads Got myself a skan chronograph today it was a bit on the expensive side, but worth it in the long run. I need to change the seals on my hw100 and adjust the regulator output to gain more shots per fill, then adjust both my 100 and 97 to 11.8ftp. It will be great being able to use the chrono indoors. Thanks for the info on the chrono lads I spoke to Ian in sporting supplies today and he also highly recommended them.

  13. Hi Craig I own a 97k fitted with a V-Mach kit it's a great rifle and very accuarate with AA pellets out to 60 yards. I am hoping to buy the new thumbhole stock for it.
  14. Hi Mate The only way to find out is to get it chronoed. If its an old hw35 with a leather seal then changing it for a nylon one, polishing the internals and fitting a new spring will bring it close enough to full power or you could fit a V-mach kit.
  15. Hi Ryan The Air Arms Field 8.4 Grain is perfect for me. I would not go any lighter.
  16. Hi I bought the original one from T.W Chambers for my Goldstar for £40, it was skipping pellets when inserting the mag and also when reloading. I used a small file to reduce the size of the index button and then opened up the mag and reduced the spring tension. I then degreased the internals and added a small amount of WD40. It now works perfectly ever time.
  17. Hi Flat head pellets are only accurate up to 20 yards, good for ratting. I only use domed pellets in my 97, AA's are accurate out to 60 yards in my rifle. Pellet in the brain drops them dead.
  18. Hi Soops I found this service info on another forum. To service, use a punch to push out the pins that hold the trigger parts in and the fore-end on. Take note of the position of the trigger parts, note how the trigger spring fits behind the trigger guard. Slide off the trigger guard and the plastic fore-end, push out the pin holding the metal plug in the fore-end of the cylinder. This will free the barrel, and as the pin comes all the way out, the plug and the spring will come free as well. There shouldn't be much preload on the spring but it will push the plug out as the pin comes ou

Thanks
  20. Hi The TX200 is a superb rifle, but if it was down to me I would have to go with the HW97K MK2 Thumbhole with adjustable butt pad.
