I had a kerrybluexgh, very good on fox and bigger game, but he wanted to kill everything he seen, including people, when he had hold of a fox you would want your wits about you when trying to take it of him,lol he was a mad b*****d. i lost mine to a sika's antelar straight through her rip cage after she flipped the fcuker from a nose hold but i would of bred her 1st litter that coming summer and if i did i would still have her line now i was very fond of that bitch but it is so hard to find a good kerryblue now i dont think i will ever have that breed again

My old black 3/4 dog would run them all the time maybe get 5 or 6 slips and catch maybe 3 or 4 .he is 9 now and will still be running the odd one this winter the last time i had him out coursing which was last year he was on 1 hare for at least 4 or 5 minutes he did'nt kill but he gave a great show for me and the other lads that were out but when he was in his prime he would maybe get a couple of dozen turns from them and then a kill but he did have the odd long course

I have tried to google this and cant get a straight answer any where i'm not talking about the ward union hunt im talking lurchers some people tell me it's illegal and some say it's ok once you have permission but does anyone know the facts and can prove it .YIS Lurcher 330

Be good to see you at Birr - as you can see we have put together some discounted packages for admission but like everyone else our margins have been squeezed for the last two years through working out packages with exhibitors on one hand and greatly increased costs on the other. Traders are hurting a lot BUT we have asked all traders to have at least one bargain offer on their stand and as we have a good range of traders booked in there should be plenty of bargains to be had. Unlike Ballinough we have the support of the NARGC ( with a huge stand) and FISSTA as well as CAI, IFA Countrysid

Thanks John i try to do the best i can with the dogs but honestly if i came home with nothing it would'nt bother me at the end of the day it's all just a bit of crac and a chance to meet some like minded people like yourself and pass the time in the summer while i wait for the season to kick in to do what i keep the dogs for which long hard days and nights in the field.
