  1. Yes whippet x grey, anything with collie in as a base line will have the brains. I prefer deer/grey x collie/greys for all quarry pre-ban running but I've got a saluki cross lurcher pup now
  2. I've been bit off 2, 1 on a dig and the second was out lamping pre-ban obviously
  3. sound....i like me woman like that to Same as me mate but I got robbed off my lass in to getting engaged So I'm thinking of moving abroad away from her or just burying her under the patio

  5. I'd of had one Nicola1804 but between the pup I've got now and work I ain't got enough time for a new pup. Get some pics when they are here and good luck with them
  6. My pup doesn't run away it just stands there trying to get a better grip on where ever it's trying to attack
  7. JPT, my saluki wouldn't grab the toy it would just grab my arm
  8. Bring the pair of them up for that weekend trip mate, that is a nice looking dog BlackKnight
  9. It will be ok going outside but they are social creatures so if you can get another 1 of the same sex it will be happier, straw, hay or shredded paper is ideal for bedding. Enjoy your new little hunter
  10. Night time with a lamp, first and last light is also good times to check them. Always walk your terrier with you in case any are far out so the pup will get a bit of a hunt
  11. Along rivers and streams is a good place to start also farms and allotments. As for starting the terrier either get somebody with a working one to go out with you or let it hunt them itself, the dog will mouth the first rat it finds and get a bite, then the terrier instinct will kick in and shake it. For shifting them either make a smoker out of a strimmer engine or buy one, If you were closer I'd of took you out a few times for the rats
  12. Get on the international falconry forum
  13. Typical anti hunt scum, I'm good, moved farther up towards the main street now but it's still like the bronx. Sorry to hear about them dogs though, even though I expected that little terrier to bite me I still liked it. I'll send you a p.m anyway
  14. I'm the lad you met outside ashington college when you were getting grief off the antis
  15. Staff x Lab bitch for bushing and deer/grey x collie/grey dog
  16. My pup has his still and I'm not really bothered about them, if he injures them when he is older then I will get them taken off
  17. Some dogs are lucky with them and others aren't is the way I see it C.P Depends on the ground they are running on as well is my opinion
  18. They should be done at a couple of days old, they take them off as the dog will keep injuring them when it's running
