I just expect mine to mark and catch the ones out of unnetted holes I've missed, they should pin netted rabbits though, but not bite in to them though but that comes with time anyway. Good luck with your ferreting mate

I've got my saluki cross pup doing the basics at 5 months old, he still messes about with his retrieving though but will come good in the end. As TerrierJohn said you might as well get the bull cross retrieving

Mine are locked up anyway as my nieces and nephew come to mine and are in to everything

So you mean hand signals, I normally just point and say "where is he" whilst walking towards it to get the dogs attention
