  1. is that any worse than leaving the bird in the care of a newbie, knowing he is doing things wrong an yet not saying anything seems a lot of mistakes where made, on both parts imo Spot on and you are right about the dog and ferreting game as well, it would be a better game if people helped newbies out rather than slagging them off when they mess up .   5. :yes: same as me mate, never done a day at college on a course but learnt on the job so to speak, good luck Spartan and if you get a job then stick at it. It's a job that needs to be done daily so sacrifices have to be made in your personal life
  6. Apart from lurchers and terriers, I like trout, salmon, pike and eel fishing. Shooting air rifles and just walking in the countryside watching the wildlife

  15. 3 or 4 places in a 30 mile radius , move up here mate that's my permission mate, not got much of it I'd let you share my permission but it would be a all day trek for you
  16. thats just it (nice farmers) as alot dont like people on there ground, and more so if you are wakling a lurcher type on the (lead). In fact when i had my pit bitch years ago, i used to walk her on the fields away from people and other dog walkers, just so i could chill with her let her off the lead . The farmers would say keep off there ground , but some would ask about the dog, and were ok and it ended there . But feck me if i walked my lurchers same places or differnt places, the farmers were i (dont) want to see that dog or dogs on here again or will call the cops. So unless you got permiss
  17. Yes you can, cross a bull with a whippet and you will get 1 , my mate ran 1 for years and it was a decent dog both day and night running but was a bit small for my style of running
